In all four fixtures against Boston University this season, one goal separated the victor from the loser. In Saturday nights finale at Matthews Arena, the Terriers dashed Northeasterns playoff hopes following the same pattern, 4-3, on Senior Night. Senior Kyle Kraemer registered a pair of powerplay goals in his farewell to hockeys oldest cathedral while junior Wade MacLeod (1-1-2) and freshmen Jake Newton (0-2-2) and Garrett Vermeersch (0-2-2) all contributed a pair of points in the Huskies final tilt of the season. The Huskies conclude their 2009-10 season with a 16-16-2 overall record and an 11-14-2 mark in Hockey East play.
Sophomore defenseman Tara Watchorn scored 9:52 into OT to give BU a 2-1 win against Connecticut in the 2010 Women's Hockey East Championship game.
