If you are a Senior Citizen, this will bring back many memories. If you are young, you will enjoy seeing this series of videos about old Memphis from the turn of the century. Very well done Public TV video. Folks, I lived in Memphis for 58 years before retiring to the country where the Cows and Chickens live. We love it very much now here in Adamsville, Tn. Where Buford Pusser was living when he was killed in his Corvette car wreck making a trip back home from Selmer, Tn. He was the subject of several movies named Walking Tall and other similar names. Hmmm, Like any big City now, Memphis is not what it once was with so many tax and spend Politition types. Whoaa, I'll quit before I get started on that subject Folks. Why are the car shows held when it is so hot? Whew, any way, most all of the vehicles here were very nice looking. KB . . .

Buford Pusser (Jo Don Baker) figures out how to deal with a corrupt judge.
Could a Cadillac have pursued Pusser and caught up with him in only eight tenths of a mile, especially in the predawn hours and without the use of headlights? We couldn't even accomplish this in broad daylight. Was Pauline murdered by state liners as Buord claimed..., or by Buford himself?
Was Louise Hathcock's death at the Shamrock Motel justifiable homicide or Cold Blooded Murder. Her autopsy report shows she was shot in the back. Buford's version of the shooting did not agree with the autposy report and when a Grand Jury was conveved, the never got to see the findingd of the state medical examiner.
Buford Pusser: Was the August 12th ambush real or was it staged? The ambush was reconstructed using information given by Buford Pusser and from law enforcement and other accounts. For more information visit Crimemyths at Yahoogroups.com or simply type crimemyths in your internet search box.
"Z podniesionym czołem" to remake legendarnego filmu sensacyjnego, który w latach 70. podbił również polską publiczność. Pierwowzorem głównego bohatera był autentyczny szeryf Buford Pusser. Nakręcony w 1973 roku film odniósł tak duży sukces, że już dwa lata później powstała jego kontynuacja, aw 1977 roku kolejna część. Wielbiciele pierwowzoru filmu - producenci Jim Burke i Keith Samples - zdobyli prawa do realizacji remake'u. W roli głównej wystąpił gwiazdor kina akcji Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Album cut of Buford Stick by Drive-by Truckers - The Dirty South. Now Sheriff Buford Pusser's gotten too big for his britches With his book reviews and movie deals Down at the car lot making public appearances For breaking up our homes and stills I know he likes to brag how he wrestled a bear But I knew him from the funeral home Ask him for a warrant, he'll say "I keep it in my shoe" That son of a bitch has got to go That son of a bitch has got to go Now they lined up around the block to see that movie And crying for his ambushed wife Marveling about about shot eight times and stabbed seven Some folks can't take a hint They say he didn't take no crap from the State Line Gang What the hell they talking bout? I'm just a hard working man with a family to feed And he made my daughter cry Said he made my daughter cry "Watch out for Buford!" is what they keep on telling me But to me he's just another crooked lawman up in Tennessee He gets a new hot car to keep us on our toes And that ridiculous stick where the press corp. goes And some big time Hollywood actors playing him on the big screen "Watch out for Buford! He's shutting down our stills and whores" But it ain't like he's all that different from what was there before It wouldn't take my man long to do the job Just a partially sawed through steering rod And I wouldn't have to worry about the good Sheriff anymore Now the funeral's got'em lined up for twenty blocks No one liked that SOB when he's alive But the ruckus he began ...
Available on EBay for $7.99. This is the introduction to our DVD. It's 58 minutes long.
Now here's Trey Harrison singing a spooky cover of an Eddie Bond song about Buford Pusser. New Years y'all!
What does the world need on New Year's Eve? Songs about Buford Pusser that's what. First Eddie Bond sings an Eddie Bond song about the McNary County Sheriff. Oh yeah.
The boys host a show somewhat similar to "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" with 3 dummies: Francine, Bawby Kelly, and the dumbest of the three, Rich Vos. Hilarity ensues, of course. .
A rare moment in this movie where Pauline Pusser (Elizabeth Hartman) & Buford Pusser (Joe Don Baker) get to enjoy a relaxing family picnic without all the chaos & violence that comes with Buford being the sheriff of a small corrupt Tn.town.
Park Performance "Bullet" is getting use to his new shoes !!!
