From the Sugar Bar, 2002, I performed a song written by Bunny Debarge -- which she recorded as "A Woman in Love" from her album of the same name. I changed the title to "A Man Who's in Love," but the rest of the lyrics are the same. A soulful pop/R&B ballad. Alexa on keys. This was also my first "out" performance.
Bunny in a rare appearance, promoting the first single off her first solo album, 'A Woman in Love,' on Soul Train. This jammin' choon was penned and produced by Jerry Knight and Aaron Zigman. By popular demand -- I hope this clears up some of the confusion surrounding this single. The DeBarge single "Share My World" was originally released on their 1981 debut LP _The DeBarges_. It was later re-released on their 1985 album _Rhythm of the Night_. At the time _The DeBarges_ was released, DeBarge was a quartet consisting of Bunny, El, Mark, and Randy. When the album failed to make an impact, they revamped the group, added their brother James to the lineup, and the rest is history. This is the ORIGINAL version from _The DeBarges_ LP.
