Capital Inicial is a Brazilian rock band that flourished in the 1980's, saw a resurgence in the late 90's, and extended into the 2000's. <p>Capital Inicial is a post-punk/new wave band who had considerable success, having recorded seven albums from 1982 to 1996. And a huge success in early and mid 00's being one of the most requested bands in Brazil with the albums Acústico MTV: Capital Inicial, Rosas e Vinho Tinto, Gigante, and MTV Apresenta: Aborto Eletrico.
