Boomerang from Cartoon Network is a 24-hour American cable television channel owned by Turner Broadcasting System (a division of Time Warner: airs MGM [pre-1986], Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network programs). The network debuted April 1, 2000. Boomerang was originally a programming block on Cartoon Network since 1992, aimed towards the generation of baby boomers. It originally aired for four hours every weekend. The block's start time jumped frequently, with the Saturday block moving to Saturday afternoons, then back to the early morning, and the Sunday block moving to Sunday evenings. Eventually, Boomerang was shortened by an hour, making the total airing time 3 hours each weekend instead of the original four hours. In 2000, Boomerang received both a new look and the cable spin-off channel that launched on April 1, 2000. By then, the block followed a unique programming format—every week, cartoons produced during a certain year (and cartoons produced during years prior to that year) would be showcased. For example, if Boomerang was showcasing the year 1969, the viewer would more than likely see an episode of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! or Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines. Once the Boomerang channel was launched in 2000, promos for the channel aired at the end of every broadcast show during the block in attempt to gain popularity for Boomerang. Also, all of the older programming on Cartoon Network, including Looney Tunes and shows from Hanna-Barbera ...

Credit: beepbeepgac The Bob Clampett Show was an animation anthology television program which ran from 2000 to 2001. Produced by the Cartoon Network, it featured animated theatrical shorts from the Warner Bros. library that were animated or directed by Bob Clampett, as well as a selection of shorts from the Beany and Cecil animated television series. It originally aired on Cartoon Network and was later added to Adult Swim programming block due to the films being shown uncut, but only aired for a short time. Twenty-six episodes were made in all. This intro began in Bob Clampett's Office in the 1940's. Bob was drawing Bugs Bunny chewing his carrot, and the moving picture of Bugs is charge to a Time for Beany opening-type world with Buzzy, Tweety, Daffy, and Porky.

1997-2000 cartoon network
This was basicly our version of the Powerhouse theme. Brings back memories, well, for me atleast. CN Nordic runs in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland at the same time. I found this clip in one of gladnicke3s videos, so why not share it? I do not own Cartoon Network or any stuff connected to it.
From the Cartoon Network at 2001

Kudos to wwewwf96 for finding this for me. --------------------------------- I started watching television when I was four. It was 1999-2000 I believe, and I was introduced to Cartoon Network, and instantly fell in love. I've never seen anything like it before, having been the only source of entertainment for me at the time was my toy cars and Hot Wheels sets. I grew up with cartoons like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, and all the other classic and original Cartoon Cartoons, even the later ones like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I loved the shows, I thought Nickelodeon couldn't compete. I never did like Nickelodeon that much, they have some good shows but nowadays it's just all iCarly and SpongeBob. CN grew up fast, and took on a look in 2004 that blew me away and had me even more captivated. It was a CGI city, where all the cartoon characters were intertwined with each other, living in this big city made up of the settings from various shows. It was really well done and gave ...
From 2000, a special presentation of Cartoon Network Sports. This is the Slate Rock and Quarry Pregame Show for The Big Game XXVIII: Roadrunner vs. Coyote. Announcer Harry Kalas runs down the list of topic to be discussed, then we go into the majestic open. Then it's to the studio, where Len Dawson, Nick Buoniconti, Cris Collinsworth and Jerry Glanville are our studio analysts and break down how the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote got to where they are today. Thus begins the two to three hours of intense coverage of the Big Game. As you've probably guessed by now, this is completely fake - essentially classic Roadrunner cartoons edited together, with dubbed-over football sound effects and commentary. It is also a ridiculously brilliant, perfect satire of TV sports broadcasting in general and the Super Bowl in particular, complete with over the top graphics and music, fake event commercials, and "expert" commentary (here provided by no less than Pat Summerall and John Madden). The whole thing was produced not by Williams Street, but Cartoon Network's promo department and, in my mind, is the best example of the quality of the work they were churning out at the time. There were four of these events - Tom vs. Jerry (1998), Sylvester vs. Tweety (1999), this one (2000), and Bugs vs. Daffy (2001). Tom vs. Jerry was simply little more than the game itself, supplemented with a "game film" marathon beforehand. Sylvester vs. Tweety built upon this, adding a pregame show interspersed ...
Adverts in between DBZ on Cartoon Network, around winter 2000 (i think). Lots of adverts selling toys to kids, plus a DBZ Sayin Saga marathon bumper near the start too
Trailer used a lot on the UK's Cartoon Network back in the day. Aired just before DBZ came on, around autumn 2000 i think.

This played in 2001, right after Hamtaro and before Zoids. It's a compilation of the GOOD shows that were played on CN. They probably played it because they knew they were gonna go downhill. I don't remember why I taped Hamtaro and Zoids.....
Produced by Wild Hare Studios in Atlanta, GA cir. 2000 This print is a demo reel produced before the audio track was mixed in.
An old CCF promo used somewhere around 2000.
Episode One: Pool Problems Featuring Uncle Gus (Cartoon Network's Big Pick). Walkthrough completed by Maps Productions. Total Time (Speedrun): 5:07 Full Text Walkthrough: (May not be in same order as video) Keys to Mayor Sunscreen to Cow Chicken to Cow Chocolate to Edd Bananas to IR Baboon Band Aid to Mojo Jojo Bubblegum to (Uncle Gus) Wrench to (Pump House Access) The total time was determined by how long it took to fully complete the game as quickly as possible. Throughout the video, dialouge from cartoons at the resort was paused at in order to allow the viewer to see what was being said. This time, and the ending credits, were deducted from the total time, so the speed run time was 5 minutes and 7 seconds. This video showcases a full-fledged walkthrough for Cartoon Network's original internet classic, Cartoon Cartoons Summer Resort, which featured four episodes for players to either explore the massive resort or undertake a bold adventure trading items with other recognizable cartoon network chracters throughout the vacation. However, throughout each episode, there is trouble afoot, and the player's main character must get help from others in order to obtain the items needed to save the vacation. What needs help, gets help. This game was developed by Cartoon Network in early 2000, and features main characters from original cartoon network shorts, mainly from the Cartoon Network's Big Pick contest, where viewers could vote for which cartoon they wanted to have given a ...
Due to popular demand I have uploaded another AWESOME Toonami Music Video that Cartoon Network made back in 2000 WHEN THEY WERE COOL! This is even WAY better than the last one, it's just all ACTION! This is a NON-STOP, Death Defying, Punching, Flying, Crazy Rollar Coaster Ride of ANIME! That Cartoon Network showed back in those days. Although it's mostly DBZ (Dragonball Z) and Gundam Wing there are others in there as well. Ones you might not recognize is Ronin Warriors, the ones in the Samurai Suits, and Reboot. The CGI Anime one made in Canada.
Here is more Toonami Nostalgia at the request of fans. If you want more I'll upload more. This was the first Anime Show on the Toonami Anime TV Block on Cartoon Network. This is a pretty powerful and very exciting Promo esspecially at the end where they show Japanese Kanji and Katakana in the words Sailor Moon while showing the Sailor Scouts Attacking. I think most Toonami and Sailor Moon fans will really like this Promo.
A really cool Toonami Music Video that they put in between the commercials and TV Shows from time to time. WHEN Toonami was cool way back when. I finally found this sequence and I've had requests for it too. This is mostly promoting the Anime Gundam Wing along with DragonBall Z which was a New Anime Show at the time followed by a Promo Block for Tenchi in Tokyo. Enjoy, it's pretty good Techno Music.
Long live the old Toonami. Ah! You shall go down memory lane with this very powerful Toonami Opening Sequence. The Music was very powerful, technical and beatiful. It's a pity Cartoon Network did away with this to give us "MIGUZI" and ADULT SWIM. Although AS has given us some great Anime, there was just this feel and special mood of Toonami that just prepared you for the upcoming shows. Plus they also took Anime Seriously! Here's a short clip look back at TOM as he entered the Resolution. COMING SOON: THE INTRUDER INCIDENT!
This was Cartoon Network's version of the Popeye intro. This was used back when Cartoon Network was in it's prime.
This was a promo used for Cartoon Network's Cartoon Cartoon Fridays block. I don't remember when this was used but it was probabily sometime around 1999 or 2000.
This was a promo used for Cartoon Network's Cartoon Cartoon Fridays block. I don't remember when this was used but it was probabily sometime around 1999 or 2000.
This was a Cartoon Network promo used in the summer of 2000 to promote the summer 2000 cartoon cartoon primetime schedule. Schedule was: 7:30- Johnny Bravo 8:00- Ed Edd n Eddy 8:30- Powerpuff Girls 9:00- Dexter's Laboratory
This was a Cartoon Network Coming up Next bumper used for National Ed Day. This was a special next. From what i've read this marathon was a 12 hour Ed Edd n Eddy marathon that took place on Cartoon Network on Sunday July 16, 2000 from 12pm-12am.
Recently a video was found that quite possibly could be of the famed guitarist for Jack Fendey. Could it be? Yes, everyone, I *KNOW* this is from Look Around You (the BBC show). I've been a fan of the show since it ORIGINALLY aired. I found that Tony looked a LOT like my friend Jeremy, from Jack Fendey and Salem and Hothouse - so I uploaded this clip as a joke for him. Now, I understand that Cartoon Network/Adult Swim is FINALLY airing LAY here in the US (maybe finally I'll be able to trade up for a Region 1 DVD instead of my PAL's!).
Old School Cartoon Network commercial advertising the introduction of a new character : A mysterious teenager named Trunks. Originally aired in 2000. It was the first time fans in the US got to see Trunks outside of the original Japanese version AND it's the first time we heard him speak in English. Later this commercial was included on VHS and DVD releases as an "extra" (most notably on The History of Trunks Special), but initially the spot played on Cartoon Network to promote the new season of DBZ, which at the time was the Trunks Saga. For those of you who doubt this aired on Cartoon Network, please visit www.toonamiarsenal.com. This site contains old promotional commercials for Toonami. ("Toonami" is what Cartoon Network used to call their mid-day anime line up). Head to the DBZ section and you'll find this commercial simply called "Trunks." - Trunks voice actor is Eric Johnson, who also goes by Eric Vale. - Song: "Heroic Trunks" and can be found on the Best of Dragonball Z American Soundtrack, Volume 1.

This is the custom "Toonami Midnight Run" intro to "G-Force" (1986), which after being off US airwaves since late 1997 made a brief return on Cartoon Network's TMR on January 2000 as filler for the expired "Robotech" and later "Voltron". However it was once again off the air not too long after, as TMR was revamped and shortened on March 6, 2000 and "G-Force" among other classic shows were left without a place in the network. It has not aired on a national level or outlet ever since...... Enjoy!!!
