Boomerang from Cartoon Network is a 24-hour American cable television channel owned by Turner Broadcasting System (a division of Time Warner: airs MGM [pre-1986], Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network programs). The network debuted April 1, 2000. Boomerang was originally a programming block on Cartoon Network since 1992, aimed towards the generation of baby boomers. It originally aired for four hours every weekend. The block's start time jumped frequently, with the Saturday block moving to Saturday afternoons, then back to the early morning, and the Sunday block moving to Sunday evenings. Eventually, Boomerang was shortened by an hour, making the total airing time 3 hours each weekend instead of the original four hours. In 2000, Boomerang received both a new look and the cable spin-off channel that launched on April 1, 2000. By then, the block followed a unique programming format—every week, cartoons produced during a certain year (and cartoons produced during years prior to that year) would be showcased. For example, if Boomerang was showcasing the year 1969, the viewer would more than likely see an episode of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! or Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines. Once the Boomerang channel was launched in 2000, promos for the channel aired at the end of every broadcast show during the block in attempt to gain popularity for Boomerang. Produced by the Cartoon Network, it featured animated theatrical shorts from the Warner Bros. library that were animated or directed by Bob Clampett, as well as a selection of shorts from the Beany and Cecil animated television series. It originally aired on Cartoon Network and was later added to Adult Swim programming block due to the films being shown uncut, but only aired for a short time. Twenty-six episodes were made in all. This intro began in Bob Clampett's Office in the 1940's. Bob was drawing Bugs Bunny chewing his carrot, and the moving picture of Bugs is charge to a Time for Beany opening-type world with Buzzy, Tweety, Daffy, and Porky.

Toonami Ended September 20th 2008, Toonami was the greatest action-block ever! It showed the best animes! Toonami had a story to it, atleast before it got to tom4 and before it ended. Other then that Toonami was the greatest ever! Millions and Millions of fans still love Toonami today and they all want Toonami back on air. But they all do not want Tom4 and his crew on it. They all want back Tom3 (The Cool Robot Guy) and Sara (The Computer Animated Chick,The woman on the screen) And The ship called, (The Absolution.) Every fan and all of there familys and kids and Teenaged Kids all want Toonami Back. Toonami's Host Moltar and Tom where not only hosts but they was also teachers. They taught alot to all of the fans of Toonami. Good things at that. Toonami also had its very own story. Its animes all had a story. Lol even bobobo believe it or not. The shows Cartoon-Network show today got no storys,no plots,Nothing but Brain-Washing Crap that sadly some people honestly watch. Those people never got to see Toonami and its animes. They never got to see the old Shows of Not only Toonami but of Old Cartoon-Network. From what I heard. Cartoon-Network is loseing alot of money and views. Announcer Harry Kalas runs down the list of topic to be discussed, then we go into the majestic open. Then it's to the studio, where Len Dawson, Nick Buoniconti, Cris Collinsworth and Jerry Glanville are our studio analysts and break down how the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote got to where they are today. Thus begins the two to three hours of intense coverage of the Big Game. As you've probably guessed by now, this is completely fake - essentially classic Roadrunner cartoons edited together, with dubbed-over football sound effects and commentary. It is also a ridiculously brilliant, perfect satire of TV sports broadcasting in general and the Super Bowl in particular, complete with over the top graphics and music, fake event commercials, and "expert" commentary (here provided by no less than Pat Summerall and John Madden). The whole thing was produced not by Williams Street, but Cartoon Network's promo department and, in my mind, is the best example of the quality of the work they were churning out at the time. This is a NON-STOP, Death Defying, Punching, Flying, Crazy Rollar Coaster Ride of ANIME! That Cartoon Network showed back in those days. It was the first time fans in the US got to see Trunks outside of the original Japanese version AND it's the first time we heard him speak in English.
