Chelan Simmons (born October 29. 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress best known for her roles of Ashley Freund in Final Destination 3 and Hillary in Kyle XY.
Chelan Simmons was born on October 29th 1982 in Vancouver, Canada. She is one of three children (one younger brother and an older sister) and has been a natural performer since the age of 2. Her first movie role was as 'Its' first victim in the horror movie Stephen King's It (1990) (TV) in which she played Laurie Ann Winterbarger. Her most recognizable roles are in movies such as Final Destination 3 (2006) as Ashley Freund, and also in other movies like Carrie (2002) (TV) and Monster Island (2004) (TV). She has also guest starred in episodes of "Smallville" (2001) and "Supernatural" (2005).

Wind Chill is a 2007 film starring Emily Blunt and Ashton Holmes. George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh are among the producers of the project. The movie was directed by Gregory Jacobs, who previously directed the well-received movie Criminal. The film began filming in the Vancouver area on February 1st, 2006, has been completed and is opening in limited distribution on April 27, 2007.
The movie will be released onto DVD on September 4, 2007.
In this film, two Portland college students share a ride home for Christmas. Unfortunately, their car gets run off the road by another car on "scenic" Route 606 and they become lodged and stranded in a snow drift, where they are preyed upon by the spirits of those who have died there in the past.
The college scenes in the film were shot at the University of British Columbia near Vancouver. Outdoor scenes of the movie were shot near Peachland, British Columbia, in February and March 2006.
