This is a little short i made using video and pictures of Chernobyl Ukraine. The main reason i actually thought of making this video was because whenever i listened to this song i always thought of this. Don't forget to leave feedback on what you think. Of course i do not own any of the pictures or video on this. The pics were taken off Google images and video off YouTube. Just like always i do not own the audio. One of the few things scientists agree is that children were and continue to be its primary victims. But while thousands of children have become ill, older residents are defiantly returning to their homes in the exclusion zone. They eat home grown vegetables planted in radioactive soil and wander around a ghost town that died twenty years ago.

It's located in an alley between the main entrance of the factory, and the factory's halls. He said that they used to make things for nuclear submarines here. But fortunately, we did manage to get some photo's, using the flash. While we were down there, we didn't see anything though. Later, at the hotel, I was looking through all my photo's,and I noticed all these cabinets full of black/red-ish bags.. I also have two photo's of our guide and the official that came along, looking behind one of the cabinet's and taking pictures. I recall that, whatever was behind it, was radioactive as hell. I don't know what they took pictures of, behind that cabinet, nor do I know what's in those bags.. ..So I sent an e-mail to the guy who had arranged the guide for me, and asked for the photo's that my guide took. These are some pictures after the Chernobyl incident. On April 26,1986, Reactor #4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant near the town of Pripyat, Ukraine exploded. The explosion took place around one in the morning while the neighboring town of Pripyat slept. Four workers were killed instantly. Four days later, the residents of Pripyat were ordered to evacuate. The residents never returned and the town still remains uninhabited to this day.Many of the building interiors in Prypiat have been vandalized and ransacked over the years. Because the buildings are not maintained, the roofs leak, and in the spring the rooms are flooded with water. It is not unusual to find trees growing on roofs and even inside buildings. This hastens deterioration, and due to this, a 4-story school partially collapsed in July 2005.

The Chernobyl disaster was a nuclear reactor accident in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Soviet Union. It is the worst nuclear power plant accident in history and the only level 7 instance on the International Nuclear Event Scale, resulting in a severe release of radioactivity into the environment following a massive power excursion which destroyed the reactor. Two people died in the initial steam explosion, but most deaths from the accident were attributed to fallout. I did take the video from hausjellp but I replaced the music and added some pictures.

Schevchenko made a trip with a cameraman to the nuclear plant. They witnessed the evacuation of Pripyat, the brave attempts of soldiers and workers to limit the effects of the fallout, and many more. The film "Chronicle of Severe Days" was created with the footage. Schevchenko died just days after his trip, suffering from the severe radiation. This six-minute long version includes: 1. Pictures of workers digging under the reactor. They aimed to stabilize the the melting base of the destroyed reactor. The people had NO PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. 2. Pictures of the workers ON THE ROOF, who were putting radioactive debris back into the radioactive container. Schevcheko made these pictures on the roof himself, and probably there he suffered from excessive radiation. 3. Schevchenko shot a falling MI-24 helicopter. This is the first video I have made. I took several videos and pictures and put them together with a song by 30 Seconds to Mars. The Windows Movie Maker started acting up on me so I wasn't able to fine tune the last parts of the video quite the way I wanted, but I was still pleased with the outcome. Comments welcome!
