This is a little short i made using video and pictures of Chernobyl Ukraine. The main reason i actually thought of making this video was because whenever i listened to this song i always thought of this. Don't forget to leave feedback on what you think. Of course i do not own any of the pictures or video on this. The pics were taken off Google images and video off YouTube. Just like always i do not own the audio. It was made by Victory Records very own "A Day to Remember"
More footage from the Chernobyl area - this is factory Sokol abandoned after the accident. There is also footage from the unfinished reactors 5 and 6.
i thought i'd do a more serious video this time this video shows sum of the pictures of the chernobyl disaster in 1986 this place was also featured in call of duty 4 you may recognise some of the pictures
The explosion at Chernobyl released a hundred times the radioactive fallout of a nuclear bomb. Even today, no one knows how many people have been affected. One of the few things scientists agree is that children were and continue to be its primary victims. But while thousands of children have become ill, older residents are defiantly returning to their homes in the exclusion zone. They eat home grown vegetables planted in radioactive soil and wander around a ghost town that died twenty years ago.
My documentary on Chernobyl and Pripyat
This is a movie with pictures of Chernobyl. The picture are made by Elena Filatova. so all the picture copyrights go to here. The music that is used in this movie is at the end of the movie, so if you want to know it then watch untill the end. Also the music copyrights go to its owner. I only had to make this video for social studies assignment.
A comparison between the time before and after the accident in the Nuclear Power Plant of Chernobyl Here you can find pictures of the construction of the NPP: www.chnpp.gov.ua
A slideshow of the town Chernobyl and when time stands still as the people left behind the life they known. Enjoy these haunting, beautiful, and downright creepy pictures of places and things that have been forgotton. The music I picked all comes from the Silent Hill series and were made by Akira Yamaoka. Anything that comes to mind when you think of abandonment, and you think Silent Hill. Rate and comment!!

--Please click more info!-- So yeah, I went to Prypiat August 28th '09, and our guide told us that the government official that came with us, had recently "discovered" this basement. It's located in an alley between the main entrance of the factory, and the factory's halls. He said that they used to make things for nuclear submarines here. Here's a link to one of my pictures in full resolution, for a clearer view: img39.imageshack.us Anyway, we went down there, and as you can see in the video part, it didn't really make a difference whether you had your eyes open or closed, it was really, REALLY dark. But fortunately, we did manage to get some photo's, using the flash. While we were down there, we didn't see anything though. Later, at the hotel, I was looking through all my photo's,and I noticed all these cabinets full of black/red-ish bags.. I also have two photo's of our guide and the official that came along, looking behind one of the cabinet's and taking pictures. I recall that, whatever was behind it, was radioactive as hell. I don't know what they took pictures of, behind that cabinet, nor do I know what's in those bags.. ..So I sent an e-mail to the guy who had arranged the guide for me, and asked for the photo's that my guide took. He sent me some pictures, of which this one: img7.imageshack.us is quite interesting. But not the ones he took behind that cabinet. When I asked about it, I got this as an answer.. Hi (****), I asked (*****) but he said he has no more ...
www.nextgenupdate.com Ok, this is truly amazing, click more to read the full story. This was by some man who posted on ps3 forums who traveled to Chernobyl a month ago and took these strange yet totally bizarre pictures which resemble the single player of COD4. This is huge. --------------------- Alright there, this is my first post so thought I'd start with my visit to Chernobyl last month. I'm based in the North West and been doing UE around here for the past few years but last year did a few international sites including Iran, Macedonia and France but this was the one I'd wanted to do for years, considered it along with Famagusta as the 'holy grails' of UE. Anyway, here goes Picked up in a Lada early on the Sunday morning and we were swiftly driven onto the motorway and onwards towards Chernobyl. I'd read plenty reports on the net if people who'd visited so I was in great anticipation for what lay ahead. As we approached the 50 km exclusion zone around the site the first signs of paranoia started to hit. From a pretty clear day the sky had seemed to turn a murky dull grey the closer we got. Then I started to notice the driver, who worked for the government daily within the Chernobyl site violently twitch every few minutes. Was this a tick he'd been born with since birth or was it from working in the most radioactive site on earth? I couldn't help feel it was the latter. We pulled up to the edge of the exclusion zone and documents were passed on to the soldiers at the ...
These are some pictures after the Chernobyl incident. On April 26,1986, Reactor #4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant near the town of Pripyat, Ukraine exploded. The explosion took place around one in the morning while the neighboring town of Pripyat slept. Four workers were killed instantly. Four days later, the residents of Pripyat were ordered to evacuate. The residents never returned and the town still remains uninhabited to this day. Many of the building interiors in Prypiat have been vandalized and ransacked over the years. Because the buildings are not maintained, the roofs leak, and in the spring the rooms are flooded with water. It is not unusual to find trees growing on roofs and even inside buildings. This hastens deterioration, and due to this, a 4-story school partially collapsed in July 2005.
A small video i made a few nights ago of recent pictures of Chernobyl, The Lost City... Using Fightstar: Grandunification Part 2, and random pictures ive found on forums and google, no copyright intention, and i DO NOT OWN any of these pictures or rights to the song. Thanks for watching :)
50000 people used to live in there, now its a ghost town
Chernobyl and Pripyat - A place where i really want to go to when i'm older. Hopefully I wil. Today is the 23rd anniversary of this explosion is why i decided to make a probably not good Chernobyl video. No commentary during this video i hope you enjoyed it. Chernobyl has been radioactive for 23 years now. Still there is a lot of radiation in this area The nuclear reactor no. 4 exploded on April 26th 1986 at 1:23am Remember to: SUSCRIBE RATE and COMMENT
just some pictures from the ghost-town pripyat and thernobyl.
The Chernobyl disaster was a nuclear reactor accident in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Soviet Union. It is the worst nuclear power plant accident in history and the only level 7 instance on the International Nuclear Event Scale, resulting in a severe release of radioactivity into the environment following a massive power excursion which destroyed the reactor. Two people died in the initial steam explosion, but most deaths from the accident were attributed to fallout. I did take the video from hausjellp but I replaced the music and added some pictures.

This movie represents a personal journey into the Chernobyl of today, a land largely reclaimed by nature. It is a journey that takes us inside the exclusion zones right to the heart of the tragedy, the stricken reactor itself, barely contained by the crumbling, decaying sarcophagus which prevents it from unleashing its deadly contents for a second time. MOST OF THE INFORMATION HERE WAS TAKEN FROM WWW.ELENAFILATOVA.COM. This video is a part of the footage shot by Vladimir Shevchenko just days after the Chernobyl Disaster. Schevchenko made a trip with a cameraman to the nuclear plant. They witnessed the evacuation of Pripyat, the brave attempts of soldiers and workers to limit the effects of the fallout, and many more. The film "Chronicle of Severe Days" was created with the footage. Schevchenko died just days after his trip, suffering from the severe radiation. This six-minute long version includes: 1. Pictures of workers digging under the reactor. They aimed to stabilize the the melting base of the destroyed reactor. The people had NO PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. 2. Pictures of the workers ON THE ROOF, who were putting radioactive debris back into the radioactive container. Schevcheko made these pictures on the roof himself, and probably there he suffered from excessive radiation. 3. Schevchenko shot a falling MI-24 helicopter. The helicopter is flown directly over the destroyed reactor container, and the pilot might have suffered excessive radiation Please visit visit www.elenafilatova.com for more information, videos and modern pictures of the Chernobyl area. I believe that this video has originated from there. Cheers.
Tese are various pictures of the Chernobyl Disaster site and the area around Pripyat. These are not my pictures. I simply got them off of the internet and compiled them into a video for you to see.

Pictures were taken by Paul Kinnunen, homepage: www.digipaul.com Direct link to the gallery: www.digipaul.com Music by Martin Galway (for Commodore 64 game Rambo: First Blood Part II, 1986) Quote from wikipedia: The reactor accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is the worst nuclear power plant accident in history, resulting in a severe nuclear meltdown. On 26 April 1986 at 01:23:40 am reactor number four at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant located in the Soviet Union near Pripyat in Ukraine exploded. Further explosions and the resulting fire sent a plume of highly radioactive fallout into the atmosphere and over an extensive geographical area. The plume drifted over parts of the western Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Northern Europe, and eastern North America. Large areas in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia were badly contaminated, resulting in the evacuation and resettlement of over 336000 people. According to official post-Soviet data, about 60% of the radioactive fallout landed in Belarus. The 2005 report prepared by the Chernobyl Forum, led by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and World Health Organization (WHO), attributed 56 direct deaths (47 accident workers, and nine children with thyroid cancer), and estimated that there may be 4000 extra deaths due to cancer among the approximately 6.6 million most highly exposed. Specifically, the report cited 4000 thyroid cancer cases among children diagnosed by 2002. Although the Chernobyl ...

This is the first video I have made. I took several videos and pictures and put them together with a song by 30 Seconds to Mars. The Windows Movie Maker started acting up on me so I wasn't able to fine tune the last parts of the video quite the way I wanted, but I was still pleased with the outcome. Comments welcome!
