My first attempt at filming and editing an. Some of the stuff I tried worked and some didn't. I hope you enjoy seeing how I made this origami flower ball.
Note: Sorry if you found the instructions unclear after I dropped it. Hopefully this explains what happened after: What I did right after I dropped it was to fold along the creases that you've already made up to that point. If you notice, there's an inner octagon within the bigger octagon (the whole piece of paper). At 3:45, I'm just folding one of the edges of the inner octagon (along the edge, horizontally) and at 3:47, I'm doing the same but in addition, I fold that in half again, vertically (along the crease that already runs through the midpoint of the edge). The product you get at 4:09 is kind of like 4 sailboats connected at the tips of their sails. SUGGESTION: Use paper that has a yellow centre that fades out to white or colour the centre of your white paper before folding, otherwise you'll end up with a daisy that's completely white. I got this design from a Chinese origami book I bought from Pacific mall. Enjoy!

This origami video shows how to make what I call an orchid flower... really it's something I made by mistake when first learning to make an origami lily / iris. You'll need to start from the frog base.
Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival, origami on-stage demonstration ends with an audience participation contest to Ennio Morricone music and a little Hissatsu Shigotonin. The objective is to fold a paper banger and be the first to make is snap, for a prize. Didn't have time to fold enough Darren Scott Australian Bush hats to act as cowboy hats, so I made a hasty/messy Jeremy Shafer bat hat and also pulled out an old Susumu Nakajima/Honda mouse cap- I think one I had folded at OUSA about 4 years ago.
This video explains how to fold the little black petals which I have folded and inserted in each of the 'petals' of the cherry blossom ball. I have come up with the steps to fold these tiny petals on my own. Please visit origamiancy.com for more details.

This origami video shows how to make a flower pot which can easily be modified into a basket. It's fun for holding origami flowers or as a home made Easter egg basket. Of course you can just use it as a cute and decorative way to keep loose change or other knick-knacks.
How to make an Origami Cherry Blossom Ball, design by Tomoko Fuse (who else could make such amazing designs...). Use at least 16x16 cm squares or be ready for some serious paper wrestling... Believe me what you see in the video is not much hassle compared to making one from from 9x9 cm memo block papers. In the end I got better at assembling it but still it remains a lot of hassle... well worth it :D Music (too lazy search for other royalty free stuff...) by pacdv.com

this is a video me doing some of the origami things I can do..I hope you like this figure so wonderful!! The song is called "butterfly" by Crazy Town... in my next video modules teach because I want this figure who, like me learn a little more of this beautiful art!
Sorry about the video quality... I promise to do a better one! **
Guilty as charged!! I shamelessly copied Ku-Ku's swan basket video just because I think she did not do right to the exceptional design of her father. I think her dad did a much better job at the swans neck ;) I know it is a lame excuse to steal her (dad's) idea, but thing is I have the origami swan fetish :D music: www.pacdv.com
i wasn't the one who originally made the origami sakura but i thought that it was a reallycute idea so i made a video about it..enjoy!
This is one of the best figures of origami that also has great charm ... I hope you like it!

Finally completed this Ku-Kusudama (not developing a stutter here...). It was inspired on Ku-Ku's Cherry Blossom Dish ;-) I soon discovered that 5-petal flowers make great dishes but are quite over stretched. As I wanted to make a dodecahedron (a 12 pentagon ball) (ku-)kusudama I needed a 5-fold so made it with 12 10-petal flowers. Also gluing them together worked out well, the tip of the petal is almost at the perfect angle (see vid!) to make a dodecahedron :-) Music by www.pacdv.com

These are the collections of my Chiyo-gami / Ori-gami creations. If you are interested in these, please visit: atelierkanawa.com [ABOUT CHIYO-GAMI] Most people know about "Ori(fold)gami(paper)-折り紙". There are so many different types of origami paper today, but originally, the word "Ori-gami" derived from "Chiyo(a very long period, like thousand years)-gami(paper). Chiyo-gami paper are traditionally created by hand with the highest quality Japanese paper, and also hand dyed by woodblock print, one color by one color, one paper by one paper just like Kimono fabric. It takes several days to produce one paper. It takes five years to become a Chiyo-gami master. Therefore, historically, Chiyo-gami was consumed in imperial palace, and also used for calligraphy by upper class Japanese. Ordinary citizens could not own it. However, the Edo period came, Chiyo-gami spread from Kyoto to Edo(Tokyo)and began to be sold at the store which sells "Nishiki e(picture)". Nishiki picture is gorgeous and colorful woodcut print which is particular to Japanese. Those "Ukiyoe" artist had very good printing techniques, so Chiyo-gami became much cheaper since then. Nishiki picture was to mainly portrait of Kabuki actor person, so they were just like poster of Tom cruise or something like that:)Girls worked at Edo castle fold Chiyo-gami paper that relates to their favorite Kabuki actors to make something. This is how Chiyo-gami became very popular. [ABOUT TSURU(CRANE)] In Japan, Cranes are symbol ...
