Marc Januszak's 1968 Nova does a wheel stand at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ on the first race day of the season. He ran a 9.83 @ 136 mph running a small block thru the exhaust, with a stock suspension, foot brake and 9" tire!

February 7, 2010 at Montgomery Motorsports Park. We are building a little Chevy II Nova and this is our first trip to the track. As you can see, we had the wheelie bars too low and the car isn't shifting weight. Looks like we need to get some new springs for up front. It was cold and not the best conditions as there were only street cars on the track.

Still wet behing the ears in driving a car like this and having a little staging trouble, but we will get there
Awesome drag race between a SS Nova and an AMC Eagle????? What the hell is an Eagle. Looks like a Pinto on steroids. This weekend the Eagle ran a 9.88 @ 134 throug the mufflers and on street tires. This was at Richmond Dragway in Richmond, Va. a very nice East Coast Facility with unbelieveable traction.

Two passes testing Friday night. Then one pass on Saturday. Ran 6.354 the next weekend during the race. Class record 6.352 by Jack Brown ran the same day. This car runs in the PTRA www.headsupsuperseries.com The class is Performance Street. Basic rules, dual plane intake with re stricter plate under one 4150 style carb, 2.5 exhaust, 26 x10.5 s, no power adder. NO WHEELIE BARS ALLOWED.

2007 Hotwheels #9 '66 Chevy nova converted into a hopper. This was my first conversion using a 3v motor from Radio Shack.
