Christine Cavanaugh (born 1963 in Utah) is an American voice actress who has a distinctive speaking style and has provided the voice for a large range of cartoon characters. She is best known as the voice of Chuckie Finster on Rugrats and for being the original voice of Dexter on the Dexter's LaboratoryWhat-A-Cartoon! shorts, and later on the TV show.
<p>Born in Utah, Cavanaugh moved to Los Angeles, California to become an actress and ended up doing voice work for a friend's film. During the '80s, she provided the voice of Cathy for the three CBS animated specials based on the comic strip by Cathy Guisewite.
<p>In 1991, Cavanaugh started doing the voice of girl duckling Gosalyn Mallard on Disney's Darkwing Duck as well as the voice of Chuckie Finster on the Nickelodeon cartoon Rugrats and later, in 1994, the voice of Oblina, one of the three main monster-students on Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.
