A warm smile and a hearty laugh would greet you when you met Chuck Olmstead. A veteran news reporter who joined WHAS-TV in 1975, he died early Tuesday morning, March 10, 2009. Chuck was 60. He had been in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm. Chuck was a friend to the WHAS Crusade for Children. He hosted many Crusade segments interviewing thousands over the years as groups reported their annual donations to the Crusade.
