Angelina Jolie Makes Third Trip to Iraq "This is the moment" - 23 July,2009
Angelina Jolie pays third visit to Iraq, appeals for aid for the displaced BAGHDAD, Iraq, July 23 (UNHCR) UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie returned to Iraq on Thursday to offer support to the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who remain displaced within their own country. During her day-long visit to Baghdad, Jolie visited a makeshift settlement for internally displaced people in the Chikook suburb of north-west Baghdad where she met four families displaced from the district of Abu Ghraib, located to the west of Baghdad, and from the western suburbs of the capital. Despite the difficulties in Iraq, Jolie said this was a moment of opportunity for Iraqis to rebuild their lives. "This is a moment where things seem to be improving on the ground, but Iraqis need a lot of support and help to rebuild their lives." The families that Jolie met complained that their children could not go to school and they could not afford to pay for medical treatment for various ailments. 43-year-old Ali* built his crude brick dwelling in Chikook after escaping from Abu Ghraib district with his 38-year-old wife and six children four years ago. "The only help that we got was from UNHCR. They are the only people who knocked on our door. But look at this life, it's very hard on us," he said. "It takes a lot of strength for you to survive this life. I don't know if I would be strong enough to survive this," Jolie told him. In a nearby house, the acclaimed actress met a family of nine, including ...
*As Seen On RollingStone.com and CNN.com!* This is a song about the Swine Flu (H1N1), to the tune of Lovebug by the Jonas Brothers. My lyrics are below! I'm a 27-year-old graphic designer from the Tampa Bay area, who likes to write music in my spare time. Enjoy! Lyrics: Caught you for the first time yesterday Finally touched that tainted piece of meat Felt so warm but you were far away Left me coughing, sniffling and lazy Now I'm speechless, over the edge I'm just breathless I never thought that I'd catch this swine flu again Hopeless, head over heels in the moment I never thought that I'd get hit by this swine flu again I can't get your snout out of my mind I'm sick to my stomach all the time So contagious you don't even try H1N1 you're not very kind Now I'm speechless, over the edge I'm just breathless I never thought that I'd catch this swine flu again Hopeless, head over heels in the moment I never thought that I'd get hit by this swine flu again

Los Angeles artist Alexey Steele brought time honored tradition of live portraiture into a 21st century by painting President Obama during his inaugural address via CNN live cast on a Facebook real time. The fast study in a monumental scale of 6' by 5' was done beginning to end during the speech, capturing personal sense and energy of witnessing the moment in history.
Looks to me to be the makings of a global spy network. I can see it now: "everybody take photos and send them to us, when you see someone that is non-compliant" Capture 'the moment' CNN Chief National Correspondent John King explains how viewers can help capture the moment Obama becomes president. I would like to also note that John King stated that: "Obama is for a New World Order" I will be uploading that and more soon.

Peter Schiff was being interviewed live on CNN just now about the current state of affairs, and he really gave his opinion clearly and without reservations. He mentioned that he opposed the bailout, and would let failing corporations like AIG and CITI simply fail because "there´sa reason they failed" "We should also not promote public spending or boost the economy, this is exactly why the US economy failed in the first place. We have been spending way too much on credit and have had others pick up the bills we cannot possibly pay back". He went on to say that Americans should create and save instead of spend. On and on, hard truth after hard truth. The moment he started to make comments about the Federal Reserve system and why their policies have brought the US where it is today, he was cutoff in midsentence (complete screen went to colored bars) leaving the interviewer baffled for about five seconds after which she went on to mumble "Technical difficulties" and jumping right on the good news of todays market recovery. 5/17/2008 Defense Lawyer William Pepper says Sirhan Sirhan was wrongly convicted of killing Robert F. Kennedy. As Sirhan's new lawyer, after the death of attorney Lawrence Teeter, Pepper says he'll seek a new trial for Sirhan. In this video, CNN International Anchor Adrian Finighan in London interviews Pepper in New York about evidence that a second gunman -- someone other than Sirhan -- shot RFK. It includes scientific findings by forensic experts Philip Van Praag and Robert J. Joling concerning an audio tape known as the Pruszynski recording. Van Praag and Joling have concluded that this previously unknown recording, uncovered by an American journalist in 2004 and examined extensively by Van Praag beginning in 2005, reveals Sirhan did not act alone in the June 1968 assassination. The Pruszynski recording is the only known tape of the Bobby Kennedy shooting, made by freelance newspaper reporter Stanislaw Pruszynski, a Polish journalist covering the RFK presidential campaign for Canadian newspapers. Van Praag and Joling say the Pruszynski recording shows that in addition to convicted gunman Sirhan, there was a second, hidden gunman in the Ambassador Hotel kitchen pantry who also was firing at RFK. They say the recording along with other forensic evidence proves that none of Sirhan's bullets hit Kennedy. They say the Democratic presidential candidate was shot by the second unknown gunman and not by Sirhan, who is the only person ever to have been arrested, tried, convicted ...

COPYRIGHT GOES TO CNN. OBAMA ! ! ! historical moment...
I recorded a little cell phone video when we found out Obama took Virginia, and then reminded the partygoers not to drink their champagne until the California results came out... well, just a few seconds later, without any warning, NBC splashed a graphic on the screen: Barack Obama, 44th President. PANDEMONIUM! :-D
Barack Obama's win recorded as three networks call it. Recorded at a restaurant in Southern California, plus man-on-the-street interviews afterward.

On Iraq Obama says, I think we have to be as careful about getting out as we did about getting in. This was a great moment in the debate. It soon became boilerplate commentary in the Obama campaign but it was first enunciated here.
