Edit of a video I recorded for my veterinarian of my dog having a seizure. His name is Bugsy and he is a recently adopted epileptic of an unknown mix. Currently working with a specialist in hopes of getting his seizures under better control. I've captioned moments throughout the video I'm posting here to help give a better idea of his seizure experience/process. The recorded seizure lasted much longer (12+ minutes) than his usual episodes and consisted of a couple violent convulsion sets which repeated in continuous tonic-clonic cycles. The seizures only occur at night while he is sleeping and no known triggers/patterns at the current. Typically lasting only 30 seconds. Currently on Pheno.

This is Luna my Sugar Glider. She yesterday started a horrible downward spiral of symptoms of seizures, spasms, twitching, apparent blindness. She is still coherent and has the ability to drink from my finger. She will eat but it is difficult given the amount of convulsions. This is due, still not confirmed, to the black PVC coating which has caused these toxic neurological symptoms which become FATAL. REMOVE your little darling IMMEDIATELY from the cage. She is currently in my hand against my chest as i type this. She will stay there until she feels much better or the time for her to pass comes. I received a call, as I was away from Luna, for work, and drove home in the middle of the night to be with her. Again this occurred out of nowhere. The symptoms to me were unapparent . In retrospect, she may have been twitching long ago and I only recognized the slight movements as part of her own natural processes. I feel horrible as I might have been able to overt this situation by removing her from the cage and providing another cage for her. HAD I KNOWN i would have done this. I am giving her as much fluids as possible. PLEASE don't let this happen to your Sugar Glider. It is heart breaking.

I'm now 34 years old & started having problems in 2003 when I was 27. I had half my face droop & the other half paralyzed. Went to the ER & they miss diagnosed me with Bells Palsy. 2 months later I went back to ER for chest pains, left side weakness, I was kept overnight only to find I was paralyzed the next day! I spent months in a wheel chair on and off. I've had several lapses 12-24 in a given year. I've seen about 19 Dr.s & spent over 25k so far. All the Doctors I have seen including the ER Dr.s can't tell me anything! Most of them state "that it's all in my head or stress related!" I started having convulsions/seizures a few years after which followed by Foreign Accent Syndrome(now speaking in a British accent) diagnosis @UT Dallas by Dr. Katz in 2006. This week we have spent another 2k to repeat the same test before. I've had Dr.s @ Breckenridge Hospital tell me rudely & acted put out "Just deal with it!" & a Neurologist Dr. F in Round Rock Texas, says it's nothing but stress. I had several MRI's & CAT showing normal, but a spinal tap showing 85% negative for MS. I tried to establish a new family Dr. with Dr. G in Georgetown , Texas & came across so many new worries, she decides to take a personal phone call speaking another language for about 10 minutes & ends the call in English, "Okay I'll bring some off the shelf!"
