It's free and accurate. Here's how you take the mirror test. When you step out of the shower, look in the mirror. Don't cheat. No sucking in your stomach. Let everything hang out. If the person staring back at you is lean, energized, and strong, you're in good shape and you're probably healthy. On the other hand if you are like most Americans, the person staring back at you will be overweight or worse yet, way overweight. Then you fail the mirror test. If you fail the mirror test, you need to take action to get your weight under control. BMI stands for Body Mass Index. BMI is a widely used measure for determining whether you are at a correct weight. They say, 'Okay, here are the you know, the angioplasty codes.' So what I did is I kind of make these notes down on the bottom and if that's not showing up, just let me know, Boyd. So basically, I'll show you all these bubbles but this is where we want to start here. I have 1, 2, 3 and the way I indented it is kind of key to understanding this as well. So you want to start by putting stents first and then indent it underneath of it. Number 2, your atherectomy and indent it underneath of that. Number 3, your PTCAs or your balloon angioplasty. Now you'll see here, I wrote stents rule and that's pretty much how I help my students to remember this is that the reason I put it in this little hierarchy is if you have a stent done and an atherectomy and a PTCA all in the same vessel, the stents rule and then the atherectomy and the PTCA is bundled into it. Here is a portion of the outline for part 2 of the muscular system : Motor Unit One motor neuron and all the muscle fibers it innervates. The axon (nerve fiber) branches at the distal end into terminal branches and can innervate from 3 to 1000 muscle fibers. When a nerve impulse approaches the end of an axon, it spreads out over all of its terminal branches and stimulates all the muscle fibers supplied by the one motor neuron. All the muscle fibers of a motor unit contract in unison when they are stimulated by the motor neuron. Cytoplasm This is the fluid portion of the cell between the nucleus and the cell membrane. The sliding filament theory will have different phases depending on what textbook you are using to study. For this tutorial I am using the essentials of strength training and conditioning. Even if you are not studying for the NSCA certification, I think there is some good overlap in the material presented. Here is part of the outline to go along with the video: Muscular Contraction Muscle fibers contract by a shortening of their myofibrils due to actin filaments sliding inward over myosin filaments which causes the muscle to shorten and develop tension. During Muscular Contraction Z-lines are pulled toward the center of the sarcomere H-zone shrinks I-Band shrinks A-Band remains the same length Z-line Thin dark line of structural proteins running through the middle of the I-band.
