Students from Regional University Network partners Hull College have been crowned the winners of this year's Music Studio Challenge. The third annual competition ran over the weekend of Friday 26 to Sunday 28 February. Teams from five partner colleges entered the challenge and competed against the clock and each other to produce their own version of a well-known song. Listen to the entries below. The teams had 24 hours of studio time over the weekend to create their masterpiece in Innovation North's state-of-the-art music studios at Headingley Campus. Each team also had a current level 5 Innovation North student (BSc (Hons) Music Technology / BSc (Hons) Creative Sound & Technology) working with them as their mentor. The winning team of Phil Killingworth, Ryan Johnson, Andy Mawer and Ryan Pullen are studying BA (Hons) Music Performance top-up at Hull College. The team fought off competition from teams from Newcastle, Loughborough, Calderdale and Wakefield Colleges. I was bored and saw that you could change your country on the home page. I had to make a whole other account, but it was pretty easy. Just enter the basic info. In this part, I create a new Fairy! They still have the old create a fairy options, with all the cool clothes in any color you want. But it looks like they still don't have the tinker talents.
