Here is another Fallout 3: Wasteland Dancin' Part 2 vid... It's not the best... but whatever... I was using Umpa's Animation... Thanks Umpa! The animation is from free motion capture animation converted to the game... It could be used for movies, games and etc... It's really awesome! I Randomly captured shots from the game... and then... mixing them all together like a melting pot... I had to squeeze all the videos I captured with the random voices going with the song together... I think I kind've rushed it.. It was too much... I tried to keep the video less than 3 minutes but... It didn't work... Groovy! Come Dancing is a 1982 song performed by British Rock group The Kinks, released as a single in that year in the UK and 1983 in the US and included on their album State of Confusion. The song is a nostalgic look back at childhood memories of writer Ray Davies, remembering his older sister going on dates to the local Palais dance hall where big bands would play. The lyrics tell how the Palais has been demolished and his sister now has her own daughters who are going on dates. The song was something of a comeback for The Kinks, being their first UK top 20 hit in over ten years (reaching number 11) and its number 6 peak on the US chart was their highest there since "Tired of Waiting for You" made the same position in 1965. It also made the top 10 in Canada (#6) and the top 20 in Sweden and Belgium. Such success was most likely spurred on in the US by the accompanying MTV Music Video, which was continually pushed and broadcast (in the style of early MTV). The song has, over the years, become one of the most popular songs on Classic Rock Radio, and remains so today.
I've been DYING to do this since I saw the beginning of the caremelldansen craze. And when I found out that the videos of the Rock Musical Bleach that I had downloaded were compatable with Windows Movie Maker (my only video editing software) I was so happy! I started out just putting in random clips of the dances, but as it moved along, more often than not, they fit perfectly, without my finangling it. And I really did want to put in more of the dances, like more of Catharsis of Eternity, or the Punyu Punyu dance, but I ran out of song! And I didn't think I would! This is hands-down the quickest video I've ever made. Usually I agonize over timing and getting that PERFECT clip for just the right place, but this time, I just started stringing 'em together. I started this yesterday afternoon and here I am posting it today! And it seems to have passed my perfectionism test, so hopefully you don't think it's too bad.
