The NFL Draft is upon us and Peter King is ready. King predicts the Colts will select Andrew Luck giving the team a fresh start at the quarterback position after they ended their long relationship with pro bowler Peyton Manning. Washington traded their future away to select Heisman trophy winner Robert Griffin III and the Vikings will pick an offensive tackle to protect their future in Christian Ponder. King also predicts the Browns will take NCAA champion running back Trent Richardson and the Bucs will take the top defensive back in the draft. Two players top the list of picks for the Cowboys, safety Mike Barron and offensive lineman David Decastro. Who will go where? Find out this Thursday as the NFL Draft starts

Playing with Andrew Luck at Stanford, David DeCastro is driving to be one of the top offensive guards in the NFL Draft.
I do not own any of the clips in the video or the audio, all rights go to the respective owners. My picks 17-21 in the 2012 NFL draft. Pictures- David Decastro-www.newerascouting.com Whitney Mercilus-www.athlonsports.com Kendall Wright-blog.sfgate.com Stephon Gilmore-www.nepatriotsdraft.com Dre Kirkpatrick-www.usatoday.com Music-www.youtube.com David Decastro- He is the best Guard in the draft and the bengals have a good offense but they need to buff up there offensive line to protect Dalton and give Green Ellis time to run the ball. Whitney Mercilus- The guy had 16 sacks and 22.5 tackles for a loss he can tackle the HB in the backfield consistantly and will be able to help the Chargers pass rush. Kendall Wright- He is a good possesion receiver and put up 14 touchdowns and 1660 receiving yards and the Bears need a solid #2 reciever to compliment Brandon Marshall to help Jay Culter by giving him more options. Stephon Gilmore- Is a good tackling safety and can get some interceptions and since the Titans lost Cortland Finnegan, so they need another #1 safety and he will be able to start for the Titans. Dre Kirkpatrick- The Bengals need a corner and Kirkpatrick is a solid tackler and can stay on the reciever down the field and help fill a void at Cincy's cornerback position.
Stanford OG David DeCastro is one of the best guard prospects in years. But how high will an NFL team draft a guard? According to Nolan Nawrocki, pretty early.

Following a remarkable collegiate career and outstanding performance at the NFL Combine, David DeCastro has emerged as one of the top interior line prospects in recent years.
DAVID DECASTRO // STANFORD // FOOTBALL HIGHLIGHTS // NFL DRAFT The highly sought-after high school recruit redshirted his first year on The Farm, and then earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 accolades after starting all 13 games at right guard in 2009. He again started every contest in his sophomore season, this time getting the full support of league coaches as first-team all-conference material, before earning All-American accolades as a junior. DeCastro opted to bypass his senior season to enter the NFL Draft and he's regarded as the top-ranked interior lineman available. Although he is not an elite athlete, the Washington native simply does get not beaten in pass protection, either. Sound technique, excellent toughness, and intelligence are all traits scouts look for in a first-round interior offensive line prospect -- and DeCastro has them all in spades. DeCastro isn't an elite athlete but he's rarely moved in pass protection and dominates as a run blocker with technical precision, toughness and intelligence. He's at his best on the move because of his nifty footwork and agility, pulling to lead in the running game, and plays every down with the intent to bury a defender. There's not a scheme in which he wouldn't fit and he would be an upgrade over the majority of current NFL guards. A first-round lock with top-15 talent.
After performing magnificently Andrew Luck, David DeCastro, Jonathan Martin & Coby Fleener answered questions from a national media contingent about their Stanford Pro Day, the upcoming NFL Draft and their involvement with teams.
It was an immensely impressive day for Stanford's 2012 NFL draft class, performing before more than 100 scouts, coaches and GMs at Stanford Pro Timing Day. Check out the scenes in the weight room and on the field, including Andrew Luck's throws, Coby Fleener's 40-yard dash, Matt Masfilo's 38 bench reps and much more.
Two storylines emerged from Stanford's much-anticipated pro day held on Wednesday afternoon at Elliott Field in Palo Alto. First, despite poor weather conditions, Andrew Luck had a very successful throwing day, completing 46 of 50 passes, including a 70-yard pass to end the day. Passing was the final hurdle for Luck who elected not to throw at the NFL Combine in February. Luck passed today's test with flying colors, showing exactly why he's been so revered by NFL Scouts. Also jumping out for those in attendance was the skill level of Stanford's three additional potential first round picks. Tight end Coby Fleener ran a 4.45-second 40-yard dash to cement his status as a first round pick, while offensive linemen David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin also impressed. With the last big pro day in the books, just five weeks remain until the 2012 NFL Draft, when the real excitement kicks off. Bleacher Report Deputy NFL Editor Dylan MacNamara is covering all the day's action from Stanford Pro Day. Stay tuned for up to the minute updates and late breaking news from Palo Alto. My video detailing the Chiefs' options in the 2012 Draft, including a prediction as to who they will pick.
beforethekickoff.com The 2011 Tennessee Titans barley missed the playoffs and need to find a way to rebound in the 2012 season. I'm breaking down their 2012 off-season, their free agents, and who I see them drafting in the upcoming draft. Check it out.
2012 MOCK NFL Draft: First Round picks 11 through 20: In the midst of free-agency frenzy, Matt Miller's draft board changes more than Peyton Manning's play calls at the line of scrimmage. Miller sorts out the mid-first round picks, from 11-20, and as you'll see, there is an abundance of talent for NFL teams to acquire. One of the unifying themes from selections 11-20 is that franchises such as the Chiefs, Cardinals, Bengals and Bears all need offensive line help. According to the draft guru, Stanford's David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin should have an immediate impact as rookies. Iowa's Riley Reiff and Georgia's Cordy Glenn will also be ripe for the taking in the middle of the first round and Miller highlights their likely landing spots. Additionally, the Bear's acquisition of Brandon Marshall creates an interesting ripple effect and opportunity for teams selecting after Chicago to land a stud receiver in the 2012 NFL Draft. As free agents continue to sign, Matt Miller's draftboard will no doubt evolve. Stay locked on Bleacher Report's NFL Draft 365 for updates on the ever-changing draft scenarios. With a full contingent of future blindside blockers in Indianapolis working out, here's our update on who is impressing and who is finding their stock falling at the NFL Scouting Combine. USC tackle Matt Kalil entered the day as the top rated tackle, but will he hold up his end of the bargain in workouts? Same for Stanford guard David DeCastro, who our own Andrew Kulha has ranked as his No. 2 overall player.
