Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry?This event is important to the industry because it will be direct competition to Nintendo's Wii by introducing casual play to the ps3 with the Move controllers but will also be able to cater to Core Gamers as well. This device has more precision then the Wii even with motion plus it will be interesting to see how it effects the gaming world.

Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? This event is important to the industry as much like Sony’s Move the Kinect is a way Microsoft wants to connect with the casual crowd but so far they don’t seem to be wanting to use this device to appeal to the hardcore crowd. But if they can win over the casual players they will be giving Nintendo some competition.

This event is important to the game industry because people no longer have to “cheat” to play games on the Mac no longer do you have to boot camp to play Left 4 Dead or Portal. With this influential gaming service coming to OS X one would imagine that more will follow and help give Macs their Rightful place in gaming history.

This event is important to the game industry it much like the iPhone and iPod touch changed gaming with the app store the iPad will play all existing iPhone games and will have its own app store with games made to take advantage of its larger screen and more horse power. Also with its build in eReader companies that manufacture strategy guides can have them for download or with the internet connection one doesn’t have to run to his computer to find out how to complete a puzzle.

This event is important because it could end up changing the way we play games on pcs and tvs. With this streaming service games can be rented or bought but never actually have to have any physical media and you don’t have to go out and have a top of the line computer to play the games you can even play them directly on your TV with an adapter or even on your Mac once the service launches.
