Originally posted: October 11, 2008 I was inspired by Youtube's lovable hat-wearing smart aleck to do an HDG of my own. This was the first time I've done a serious video like this, so my voice may have been a little off. Thanks to MadamMewmiC for helping edit the script. Algeria is a country where 99% of the population is muslim. However until 1962, for 132 years it was under french colonisation, and even after the liberation by the mujahideen after a civilian genocide of 1.5 million algerian civilians, algeria never got the chance to be ruled by the islamic law. Throughout the whole years of colonisation the islamic knowledge was lost, the population was far away from the correct understanding of islam, bid'ah (religious innovations) where widespread, like the "hand of fatma" (who was a jewish belief, introduced because of the presence of jews under muslim protection from european christians in north africa). Since the french left algeria was never ruled by other then the corrupt military generals most definitely put in place by the french (yahood). They always ruled with tyranny and algeria has been secularist, socialist, communist (as proven by the friendly ties between Algeria, Cuba and Russia and furthermore with the visits of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro) Of course all these man made systems are forbidden in islam, as well as the separation of Algeria as an individual state cut off from the rest of the muslim world, because of stupid frontiers drawn by the french & british to destroy the khalifa. So, in 1989 was born the FIS (Front islamique du salut) or Islamic Front of Salute. It grew more and more in popularity, and after a few elections turns, it won the majority of votes by 82% in 1991.
