Deborra-Lee Furness (born 1956) is an Australian actress, director and producer. <p>Furness is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts New York. She met actor Hugh Jackman when they co-starred on the Australian series Correlli in 1995, and the couple married in February 1996. The couple have adopted two children: Oscar Maximilian Jackman, born May 15 2000, and Ava Eliot Jackman, born July 10 2005. <p>Furness is also a partner in the production company Jackman founded with John Palermo, Seed Productions. <p>In 2000 Furness was nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Guest Role in a Television Drama award at the Australian Film Institute awards (the most prestigious awards body in Australia). <p>In 2006 the Australian Film Institute nominated Furness as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Ray Lawrence's Jindabyne.
