What's up Guys, hope you're having a nice day and welcome back to Clevver Games! Forget fighting Prime Evils in Diablo 3, players have yet to defeat the log-in screen! The game launched at 12:01am this morning and like most major releases, had quite a few issues. Players are encountering a slew of problems including Full Servers, Performance Problems, and the infamous "Error 37", which forces players to repeatedly login to their accounts. What's really funny is the site states- "Please note that due to a high volume of traffic, login and character creation may be slower than normal. If you're unable to login to the game or create characters, please wait and try again." Thanks for all that indepth insight Bizzard. No passing go or collecting $200 for you. Blizzard had previously warned players they could experience delays when logging in, but it obviously appears they have slightly underestimated launch day demand. Blizzard's requirement that players always be connected to the internet, even for single player, is exacerbating the problem even more. Currently, Blizzard has offered no ETA as to when they expect to have everything sorted out. So, how do you feel waiting in the mean time? Did you experience a lot of these problems yourself? They revealed today that Characters and items in Diablo 3 will be bound to one of 3 server regions: The Americas, Europe, & Asia. Now- you can't move characters between the regions, but you will have access to "Global Play," which will let you create new characters in territories other than your home region. You'll be allowed to interact with other players on those servers with only One restriction: You can't bid in the Real-Money Auction House in any region other than your own. Now Speaking of that- Blizzard also announced today that the real-money Auction House won't launch until 1 week after Diablo 3's May 15 launch. Blizzard posted a comprehensive FAQ on the controversial auction system on the game's official site giving us insight into a few interesting things.
