One thing is for sure, if I can reuse or create something by recycling, I am going to do it. I found this children's book that had numbers down each page, but the pages were damaged as well as the spine. I sanded the pages and their edges before wrapping them in cardstock. I applied the "Wings of a Dream" paper collection to the inside pages, which needed little done to them. Thus I have a year at a glance for one of my friend's baby. We have been cloth diapering since October 2007 and since then Ive tried various wash routines and detergents and FINALLY i've found a routine that i stick to and i'm happy with. I LOOOOVE this AIO (all in one) its super absorbent, trim and its cute! easy to wash, dries quickly it really is a DREAM! www.simplebaby.com eta: my wash routine is 1. soak for a little bit on cold (longer if they are really dirty) 2. a cold wash cycle with nothing but water 3. a HOT wash cycle with a little bit of REGULAR tide 4. dry in dryer if its a cruddy day or if its nice and sunny I dry them on the line or if there is one with a stain i dry on the line and it gets the stain out I dont use any traditional ointments on the diapers as its not reccomended by a lot of mamas on diaperswappers.com it breaks them down a lot faster BUT there are certain cloth diaper ointments that you CAN use i also have no smell issues with these they come out clean every time! any other questions just ask :)
