A collection of the different Doctor Who episode introductions reflecting changes in technology, style, music and visual aesthetics. Somtimes the changes where minor, adding one Doctor's image for another or subtly different music. Sometimes they were tremendous departures from what had come before. Enjoy this collection and tribute to the Doctor and his continuing adventures.

Just a quick note to begin with. I haven't given up on the Macra Terror reconstruction. Part 3 is complete and Part 4 about 75% towards completion. I just fancied a change. This is something I've wanted to do for a while. I'm quite happy with how it came out. The Song is Live and Let Die by the Wings. Doctor Who belongs to the BBC and the song belongs to its rightful owners. Not me

High(er) Quality (I could hardly call it "high quality!): uk.youtube.com Effectively the same as the previous version, but this was the one that was released on record in the 1970s. It features the first appearance of the "sting" at the beginning and the TARDIS sound somewhere in the middle. As this was taken off a record, it is not as good a quality as a CD would be, but despite that enjoy it!
A Trailer for the classic series, done in the style of a new series trailer --------------------------------------- Doctor Who (C) BBC, No copyright infringment intended ---------------------------------------
High Quality: uk.youtube.com Continuing my upload of all the official Doctor Who themes, is the remixed version not used in the show. Although it was produced at around the same time as the previous version, this one is actually very different, and although the other theme is considered the "definitive" Doctor Who theme tune this was the one that most other mixes (including the most recent Murray Gold theme) have been based on. Enjoy!
High Quality: uk.youtube.com I have had quite a few requests to upload my Doctor Who Theme collection onto YouTube. So here it is! Every Monday for the forseeable future, I will be uploading versions of the theme music, be they opening themes, closing themes or the whole thing. Obviously this will be in chronological order, so I'll be starting with the original theme from way back in 1963... PS Before anyone asks, I am NOT able to send you any music file - sorry!
The video opens with the Pink Floyd - One Of These Days track which opens with a "wind sound" emulated by means of a delayed wind drum slowed down to half speed. The ending solo on the left speaker is David Gilmour playing a regular guitar solo dueling with himself, via multi-tracking, playing slide on right speaker. At approximately 10 seconds into this mix the Tardis sound effect is heard on the video followed by the original Doctor Who theme tune which "inspired" the One Of These Days - Pink Floyd track. The whole mix is accompanied with psychedelic images created using a variety of graphics software. Enjoy.
60s electronica single.
