Dogs Die in Hot Cars is a Scottish band which became popular in the UK and international music scene at the same time as Biffy Clyro and Franz Ferdinand.
The band's name comes from a RSPCA campaign to advise dog owners not to leave their pets in hot cars. The band lists their influences among others as Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
All these members attended Madras College in St. Andrews as high school students.
