This is me, showing of my custom MVSDK e-level, and failing miserably at it... I've made this short level way too hard with the two Donkey Kongs. Even my editing after the first failures did not help... I've created this level simply to show, that you can place Donkey Kong in his various boss variants as an enemy in regular levels. This allows us to create some interesting new challenges not found in any of the original levels! I wanted to edit the level a second time, but somehow my cheating tool crashed the game (and produced the weird background "effects") the second time I wanted to use the level editor... I consider myself to be a quite skilled MVSDK player, so I'd say, that whoever manages to beat this level on the first try is a real WINNER!!! (Or just damn lucky) ;)
I made this animation to test out if i could rig a pumpjack. This is more a technical video, still, i hope you like it. Its unlike most movies i posted, its short and hasnt got a lot of eyecandy, still i thought it was good to share online ;) (Do dont rate or comment about that) only the lightgreen axle and the blue axle are animated, the rest follows its movements. also for the "cable" and the driving arm i used a look-at constraint. It was made using 3dsmax by Rachel vd M.

'Donkey' by Soonio Productions is one of those games that frustrates you up until the point that you feel like crushing your ipod with your bare hands. A game that has many questions and simple instructions is sure to keep you addicted, just like me. Many of you may of heard the famous 'The Moron Test' which tests your skills to follow on-screen instructions which indicate to either press one of the many pictures and diagrams on the screen. Donkey is a game very similar to that, except it has a bit more variety and is much more challenging. Once you start the game, you will get given a question such as 'Press the balloons from red to violet (the colours of the rainbow)', and all you have to do is complete what it says, then you will get given anther instruction and so on. If you get an answer wrong, miss where you were suppose to tap, or just run out of time, you will get 'Donkeyed', which displays a donkey screen with an annoying sound. I really love this game, it is well made and isn't boring like some other intelligence/moron test apps. Testing my midi importer for Banjo-Kazooie to make sure everything is working properly. As you can see there is a little trouble with a note "hanging" in the second song. I am unsure of what causes that, but it happens in some other midi files as well. What you are viewing are songs that were converted from the standard midi format (type 1) files to the Compressed N64 Midi Format which is compatible with Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong64, and Banjo-Tooie. The program itself will be very simple to use. All you need to do is click the "Import" button, select a song and it will parse all the data for you. I downloaded a version of FCE Ultra called FCEUX which has a built in video recorder so I can capture NES game footage that way instead of relying on shitty out of sync hypercam. This is just a test to see how well the footage looks on youtube. I was amazed at how flawless the footage looked on my computer, but then again youtube usually turns the quality to garbage, but on the bright side, it will at least be in sync. Anyway, I decided to test the software by playing the NES version of the arcade Donkey Kong. I did a quick playthrough of the 3 playable levels.
