The arrest of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao at Karimnagar on Sunday morning sent the entire Telangana into flames. Whether it was sponataneous or pre-planned, the TRS activists plunged into action within minutes of knowing that KCR was arrested by the police. They went on rampage, attacked the police outposts, set ablaze buses, pelted stones and blocked roads at several places. A young lawyer, Srikanth, resorted to self-immolation at LB Nagar crossroads demanding that separate Telangana state be created. He was immediately shifted to Kamineni Hospital, from where he was taken to Osmania General Hospital and then to Apollo-DRDO hospital. The condition became critical. The worst situation was witnessed at Osmania University, where hundreds of students took out rally and clashed with the Rapid Action Force police. Students supporting the demand for a separate Telangana fought pitched battles with police. Some students climbed onto the terrace of one of the hostel buildings and threatened to jump down. Another student was seen pouring petrol on himself, demanding that the police stay away from the building. As the news of kcr's arrest broke out, students took to the streets in the campus and pelted stones at policemen deployed in large number. Some students were injured when the police chased them into one hostel building and beat them up. Protesting the police action, students gathered at other points in the campus. The The heavy posse of policemen ...

The Duke Nukem 3D usermap, Rise of the Triad: Revisited (ROTT.MAP) by Bob Averill, completed in 00:37 in Duke Nukem 3D v1.5. The map itself is based on E1A1: The HUNT Begins from Rise of the Triad: The HUNT Begins (the shareware version of Rise of the Triad,) originally designed by Tom Hall. The .DMO version, recorded on May 20, 2007, can be downloaded in the URL below: disasterlabs.com (WARNING: The .DMO will desync in Rancidmeat and xduke, as Duke will be hit an additional time in the area with the Devastator, altering his movement, and resulting in him not reaching the exit before the demo ends. Use dosbox to view this .DMO.) What follows is the description from the text file included in that .ZIP: If you've been watching my runs from the beginning, you'll know that in DRDO-032, I speedran a remake of a map from Doom II (Dr. Doom by Dukebert, a remake of MAP04: The Focus.) This level is a remake of E1A1: The HUNT Begins, by Tom Hall, from the shareware version of Rise of the Triad, subtitled "The HUNT Begins." Yes, the shareware level set is completely different from the full version (which is subtitled "Dark War" instead.) Yes, this was designed by Bob Averill, creator of the BOBSP series (the first two of which I actually speedran after this one,) and it's quite possibly his least-known level. There are no reviews of this level on any big websites, and the only discussion ever made about this map seems to be Bob's own thread on the 3D Realms forums (forums.3drealms ...
