My family had a lot of fun this Easter. (2010) It sort of became an unofficial tradition. My mom used to be the Easter bunny for our local mall. My twin sister has been the Easter bunny for Wal*Mart the last few years. They let her keep the costume from last year and we decided the rest of us needed to earn our bunny ears this year! We had a lot of fun...so, as a warning, there is A LOT of loud laughing because ... well, because we were quite tickled *ha* And yes. I am aware I have quite a grating and slightly spongebobish annoying laugh, kthanx.
Sophia visited the Easter Bunny at the mall. Much different from the Santa Claus visit.

Mall of America® invitied families to the Easter Bunnys Spring Festival for a morning of free spring activities. The bunny-hop lead by the Easter Bunny kicked off the event. Following the bunny-hop, guests had the opportunity to see springs newest baby animals including bunnies, chicks and lambs at the baby animal petting zoo.
I had to choose some crappy song from youtube to use in the video because it wouldn't let me upload and use the original song I had with it... so ignore the Bad Brains credit at the end and try to enjoy it anyway... :)

We took a trip to the Rotterdam Square Mall in Rotterdam, NY so Grandbabie could visit the Easter Bunny. What a great visit it was. This was the best Easter Bunny I have ever encountered. Grandbabie enjoyed him so much, and he seemed to really be happy at his work. I was thrilled to be able to capture the moment on video. Thanks Easter Bunny!!

This is what happens when the mall closes and the season ends for the Easter Bunny. They put up with hours of endless lines and 110 degree temps inside these costumes. This is how they roll out of their cage.
This is what happens behind the scenes when the season is over and the bunnies are ready to let loose. The costumes raise the heat index to 110 degrees at various times during the day obviously frying the bunny's brains resulting in these display's across the country at closing time.

Saw some wannabe Emo girls fucking with the mall Easter Bunny, and busted out the phone to record...unfortunately I missed the really funny shit, but I caught the last few seconds - then the bunny saw me. The kicker to the story is the two little girls followed my friends and I out to the parking garage and started to scream at me for recording them...and we just laughed our asses off. We had to go back into the mall to get something and ended up seeing the girls again, with the addition of another Emo child, and they attempted to start shit again, but we just cracked up laughing and kept on walking (again). I originally was going to write up a flame to the main bitch of the group, aka Emo Leader (short shit in the light blue shirt), but I figured she had a hard enough life living in the suburbs and being a 12 year old mallrat.
