Kelly Moran finally lost his struggle against COPD, passing-away peacefully, surrounded by loved-ones on Easter Sunday morning, 2010. Saturday April 10th, 2010 a public memorial service was held to celebrate the life, the delight, the talent, the love-able Kelly Moran at Costa Mesa Speedway at the Orange County Fairgrounds, in Costa Mesa, California. The Oxley's were generous to offer their facility, the most entertaining little racetrack in the world, for this memorial/celebration. Although we are all saddened to lose a friend, we can't help but smile when we think of Kelly. He met thousands of people in his career and was kind to all of them and spoke no ill about any of them; friends, team-mates or adversaries. Well, maybe a few words for the opposition, they were racing... ya know? Kelly was such a sweet, kind, likable guy, he just didn't engage in being mean. I read today in the Speedway Star that at a meeting he was the elected-rider for heat 15, but his bike was all-nattered. So he borrowed a bike from a guy that said it wasn't running very well, but good luck. Kelly won heat 15 going-away and when he handed the bike back over to it's owner he said, "It worked OK for me." LOL! That's as mean as he got. There were a lot of speeches and stuff I do not cover in this video, it's focused on the guy's Kelly ran with, this is a chance for them to tell the universe how much they love their lost brother, in a condensed, quickly available format. I came across this while i was searching for hidden messages and i thought to look around the area where the president gives his speeches... i looked and i pressed B and it started to read something/unlock something so i let it finish and a weird/mysterious tune came up. Local people and Glasgow Save Our Schools campaigners gather to cheer on the parents who occupied Wyndford and St Gregory's primary schools which are among 25 earmarked for closure by Glasgow City Council. Parents and local supporters gave up their Easter holidays to sleep on school floors where they spent 15 days. They chose the Easter holidays to minimise disruption to the children's education which is a lot more considerate than Glasgow City Council who would disrupt the kids' whole lives and education by sending them to far-off unfamiliar schools which can be frightening and intimidating for small children. Larger class sizes have proven to give poorer academic results. Large classes are also intimidating for many children, never mind having to travel along dangerous routes to a new school where other children will already have formed social groups. The Wyndford and St Gregory's children will have to pass a notorious accident site under a bridge on Maryhill Road to get to the school in Summerston where the council want to send them. En route to Summerston, the start of Cumlodden Drive off Maryhill Rd curves away back (uphill)and joins another road out of site of anyone trying to cross. Even adult pedestrians feel wary of crossing that road. On April 18th 2009 after the campaigners marched out of the occupied schools to great applause and chants of "Wyndford, St Gregory's will never be divided", campaign organiser Richie Venton introduced various speakers including ...

Heres a virtual movie of Patrick Henry Pearse (1879-1916)The Irish poet, educator, and revolutionary nationalist leader of the Easter Rising of 1916 against the British reading his much loved poem "The Fool". Patrick H. Pearse was born in Dublin on Nov. 10, 1879, the son of an English father and an Irish mother. In his youth he was a fervent supporter of the Irish language revival movement, and he developed a mystical devotion to the ideals of Ireland's ancient Gaelic civilization. After graduating from the Royal University in 1901, he practiced law briefly but soon turned his talents to education. In 1908 he founded St. Enda's College, an experimental secondary school for boys. Pearse became increasingly active in politics during the home rule controversy of 1912-1914. He gained a reputation as an orator and moved steadily toward an extreme nationalist position. In November 1913 he helped to form the Irish Volunteers, a nationalist militia, and he probably joined the secret Irish Republican Brotherhood (IRB) soon afterward. When the Volunteer movement split in September 1914 over the question of its policy on World War I, Pearse became director of organization for the militant minority that opposed support of Britain against Germany.
