<p>Edward is probably most famous for his work in the 1972 film Butterflies Are Free in which he played Don Baker, a blind man who is a talented guitarist and singer-songwriter, with an overbearing mother (played by Eileen Heckart, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her work). The following year he starred opposite Liv Ullman in the film adaptation of the play 40 Carats. Children may remember him as Mr. Collins, father to Wesley Collins, the Red Ranger from Power Rangers: Time Force.
