The LA County paramedics from Emergency team up with an Animal Control team, resulting in this rare alternate opening from the 4th season of the hit NBC series, which aired from 1972-77. No doubt a potential pilot for another series (which never made the network schedule), the "905-Wild" episode of Emergency!, which was broadcast during Season 4 on March 1, 1975, was to be the pilot for a new series from creator/producer Jack Webb. This new show was to have dealt with the staff of the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Control.
