New engine for my 57 splitty. It's been built for torque rather than top end. 82mm Crank, 90.5 bore, 40 x 35.5 heads, ported and polished, engle 110 cam, stock ratio rockers, running 9:1 CR, Dell 40's, DTM and sidewinder exhaust. I'm hoping somewhere near 100hp at the wheels, should chuck my empty panel van along nicely.

Engine now 2017 Stroker (90.5 x 78.4 ) same heads, Engle FK-8 cam, 9.5-1 CR, 36mm vents in the Dell 40's, has run a best of 14.70 @ 89.9mph, fan belt off, at our 3500 ft track: Race City, Calgary, AB
