"It's Christmas time, and they are getting fat and they are buying guns" Song about America, done by the staff of "The eXile", formerly of Russia, now in the United States (and now to be found on exiledonline.com ) as a takeoff of "Feed the World". The reason given was that folks were sending food aid to Russia, which, actually living in Russia at the time, the authors suggested was about as necessary as sending crack to Washington DC. While well intentioned (possibly) there were other issues and problems that were more pressing.
The US resembles Russia a little............. hello Angel..............
"We all carry within us our places of exile, our crimes, and our ravages. But our task is not to unleash them on the world; it is to fight them in ourselves and in others." ~Albert Camus I FINALLY GOT THE RATIO RIGHT, HOMFG. ;A; ..You should also watch it in HD, too. ;D Er.. anyway, just another slideshow type.. thing. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the fabulous art, it belongs to the individual artists, while the actual series belongs to Himaruya Hidekaz...~ Song: Exile by Enya If anyone knows the artists feel free to tell me, because then I can actually credit them. :3
Boris Abramovich Berezovsky (Russian: Бори́с Абра́мович Березо́вский; also known as Platon Elenin; born January 23, 1946) is a Russian businessman, mathematician, member of Russian Academy of Sciences, who was accused of numerous crimes in Russia and sentenced to several years of imprisonment in absentia. Despite the fact that arrest warrant has been issued to Interpol by Russian and Brazilian authorities, Berezovsky is currently a political refugee in Britain, that refused to extradition requests from Russia several times so far. He is best known for his role as a Russian oligarch, media tycoon and infamous politician during the presidency of Boris Yeltsin in the 1990s. He has been described by critics as the epitome of Russian "robber capitalism", but he denies having ever taken part in the violence and crime that tainted Russian business during that era.[1] Berezovsky was at the height of his power in the later Yeltsin years, when he was deputy secretary of Russia's security council, a friend of Boris Yeltsin's daughter Tatyana Dyachenko, and a member of the Yeltsin inner circle, or "family".[1] Berezovsky made his fortune by capturing state assets at knockdown prices during Russia's rush towards privatisation in very questionable ways.[2] He took ownership of the Sibneft oil company and became the main shareholder in the country's main television channel, ORT, which he turned into a propaganda vehicle for Boris Yeltsin in the run-up to the 1996 presidential election ...

Russian authorities have accused groups from the North Caucusus region, where Russia has fought against Chechnya in two wars, of being behind twin blasts at metro stations in Moscow that killed 39 people. Al Jazeera spoke to Ousman Ferzauli, the foreign minister of the Chechen government in exile, about the attacks and its possible consequences for Chechens. Ferzauli says there "will be more cruelty by Russian forces in North Caucusus, even though there is no verification that Chechens were responsible for the terrorist action". [March 30, 2010]
