Hi All, Let's talk about the Hanger 9 F-22 Raptor. I have dished it many times and that's because Hanger 9 continues to push Evo engines like they are worth something ; which I personally think they are not. I would love to hear from any one who can get a evo to work. Now for the good stuff. The Hanger 9 F -22 is the best all around aircraft in the RC market . With a few after market adjustments it is absolutely the top design. I have crashed and repaired the Raptor and have come to respect the design philosophy that was built into the bird. The reason I love the F-22 is the ease of day to day operations . It fits into the back of my hatchback Stealth and I never have to remove the wings. Both the center compartment and the pilot access hatch that allows access to the fuel bottle and landing gear area are real time savers. The pilot hatch is where I add as much a 32 oz. for test flights. Get the OS swap and move the landing nose gear and then you will be ready to " Rock and Roll ". 007 Wingman ....... Happy Flying.

Motor 2212/06, lipo 11,4 -1800 mAh, esc 25 A, servo's 3x 9 gr., 1x 26gr digital metalgear for TV. Steering on flaperons, stabilators and TV with an 2,4 GHz Tx and Rx. Used prop in this vid: 6x4, but that's too small.
It was a very windy day here but my RC F22 Raptor is just a beast that loves to fly in all wind conditions. We had fun with this flight and an almost high speed low pass curb crash. Check it out. This is a project I have been working on for a couple months. The vid shows onboard view toward the halfway point, then when it hits the tree, the camera gets ejected. Here are the beginning attempts at a 6+foot long depron/posterboard f-22 using (2) of grayson hobby's super mega jet v2 motors, (2) 50 amp esc w/bec, spektrum Dx7 and 7ch rx, (2) 15g metal gear servos, (2) ds821 servos (4 come with the Dx7 along with the 7 channel rx), 3 sheets depron, and a couple of arrows that are no longer straight tnough to hunt with. Hi all my flying friends and science nerds. Just for fun ; what do you do with a brand new Hanger 9 Raptor F-222 ? First, you should buy another one because the one you have is going to destroy itself . The Evo engine is worthless and if it runs at all it will only run for about one minute. Get a OS and sell the Evo on Ebay for 10 bucks. Matched with the OS you have a Cruise Missile that will fly as Hanger 9 promo video boast . With a few modifications it can be turned into a well behaved performer in the low rent section of UAV aircraft. It can carry up to 16 oz. of camera gear or other merchandise. With on-board fuel it will fly for 18 minutes and with the FMA wing leveler it can fly straight over the hills and through the dells to grandmother's house it can go. With the added styro wing it can land on its belly or in tall grass with no damage. For looks and money the Raptor is the best deal as long as you have a extra OS .46 to replace the Nasty EVO . Here is my F-22 foamy park flyer on its 4th flight with another of the same type. I made a right turn in front of him and his plane went right through mine. It came apart in about 15 pieces and crashed about 30 seconds into video. The remainder is camera buried in 6 inches of snow. About a week later, after some rain and snowmelt, a fellow pilot found my camera and returned it and it still works! Thanks Robin! Enjoy my crash! LOL!
