What would you do if the power went out? I don't mean for a few hours because of bad weather. I mean for months or years or even worse, forver. Could you survive if that were to happen? Do you have the means and skills to? Most people do not. They did a study in Vancouver, British Columbia a few years back and determined that if Vancouver lost its power for an extended period of time that 70% of the population minimum would be dead within the first 30 days from starvation, thirst and civil violence. You need to store food, water and have a means to defend yourself in such an event. Because guess what, the police will not be coming to help you. No power means no phone to even call the police, and quite frankly they will be worried about their own asses and their families for the most part. You will be on your own. So what will you do?
