fantasy.midwestsportsfans.com Every year, some of the conventional wisdom proves true while some of it also proves false. In this episode of Fantasy Football 3-2-1, I hone in on three defenses for which the preseason conventional wisdom is not proving true. I also highlight two defenses that are performing exactly as we would expect. Why is this important? Not only is good to know when figuring out what D unit to start, you can also use the information to your advantage when analyzing matchups. If your QB is facing a crappy pass defense, it might be a good week to start him. If your RB is facing the Steelers, you might want to sit him. Also, I provide my weekly piece of advice. This week, it deals with stars; specifically, that you should almost always play them. Stars are stars because they have the ability to perform week in and week out. Don't get cute and overthink things. Playing the matchups is a good idea between two similar players. But more often than not, start the guy with the most talent.
Tim Lewis from timlewissports.com looks ahead to the third week of the National Football League season. Are you looking for who to start, who to bench, who to drop, or who to pick up for your fantasy football team? If so, you've come to the right place!
Waiver Wire is our weekly look at players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. We'll be here all season to let you know which players to watch, who to ignore, and most importantly, who to pick up. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum. www.fantasysmacktalk.com
Cenk Uygur (host of The Young Turks), Ben Mankiewicz (host of Turner Classic Movies) and Michael Shure (TYT Contributor) talk about who to pick up after week 2 in your fantasy football league.
In the 3rd episode of Fantasy Football 3-2-1, I tell you which Week 1 performances you should trust and which ones you should be skeptical about. David Garrard threw 3 TDs...should you trust it? Eli Manning threw 3 TDs as well...can you trust him? Same with Arian Foster and Darren McFadden. Whose performance is more likely to continue the rest of the season? I analyze those topics and others, plus I describe an embarrassing Week 1 "decision" I made as a way to offer a very valuable piece of advice. For more fantasy football analysis and advice, got to MSF Fantasy Sports: fantasy.midwestsportsfans.com
fantasy.midwestsportsfans.com Jerod Morris of MSF Fantasy Sports provides more week 1 analysis by naming 3 players who will likely be "sell high" candidates after strong Week 1 performances, and then naming 2 players who will likely be "buy low" candidates after slow starts to the season. He also provides a key piece of advice for how to go about making tough fantasy football decisions. Discussed in this episode of Fantasy Football 3-2-1 Mike Wallace, CJ Spiller, Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Fred Jackson, and more.
fantasy.midwestsportsfans.com Jerod Morris of MSF Fantasy Sports previews Week 1 of the 2010 fantasy football season. He offers three key players to watch, two players on most waiver wires who everyone should consider picking up, and then a final word of wisdom for how to treat unexpected Week 1 stats.
