He talked to us about what he has learned since losing to Werdum, stating that he thinks Werdum doesn't want to fight him. MMA new for August 13, 2010. Fedor Emelianenko is 2/3 of the way to resign a deal with M1 global and Strikeforce. It looks like yet again Fedor will not be signing with the UFC because it looks like the UFC simply refuse to pay Fedor as much as Strikeforce is willing to. The UFC has always been cheap, even if they are the biggest MMA organization in the world that doesn't mean they pay the most. Fedor and M1 seem happy with how Strikeforce has been treating them and their deal so they are going to stay with them. This is great news for MMA fans as it looks like Fedor is not going to retire just yet. The Strikeforce heavyweight division is becoming very interesting with Fedor and Ubereem in the mix and it looks like we may finally see Fedor vs Overeem go down.
