"Theme from New York, New York" (or "New York, New York") is the theme song from the Martin Scorsese film New York, New York (1977), composed by John Kander, with lyrics by Fred Ebb. It was written for and performed in the film by Liza Minnelli. The song did not become a popular hit until it was picked up in concert by Frank Sinatra during his performances at Radio City Music Hall in October 1978. Subsequently, Sinatra recorded it in 1979 for his 1980 Trilogy set (Reprise Records), and it became one of his signature songs. The single peaked at #30 in June 1980, becoming one of his final hits on the charts. Sinatra made two more studio recordings of the song in 1981 (for his NBC TV special The Man and His Music) and 1993 (for Capitol Records). From the latter, an electronic duet with Tony Bennett was produced for Sinatra's Duets album. I hope you enjoy my humble attempt of this classic chart, which was originally intended to be a video entry for a karaoke contest. I missed the deadline by a couple of minutes and decided to not let my efforts go to waste; so I'm sharing it with you all. : ) Btw....that is indeed an xbox microphone used in this video. I knew it would serve a purpose someday..... LOL! The photo of myself used in the intro of this video was taken my Brigham Freeth. He's an extremely talented photographer and I highly reccommend him for any event. Please check his website out at www.brighamfreethphoto.com

WOLFS youtube LIST OF SONGS To avoid some misunderstandings: I am not trying to compete with the great jazz-vocalists, whom I know and admire. What sense would be in that with my German accent and completely untrained voice? I rather try to do something that has not been done often before: I try to perform (mostly) jazz-standards in the style of cabaret songs, that is focusing on the meaning of the text. (One innocent boy wrote to me: You are actually sometimes not singing, but rather speaking. ;-) I know a thing or two about cabaret songs, since I published the first description in book-form of that genre. (I would rather not mention, what year ;-) Why jazz standards? Because they offer me the freedom to improvise (and occasionally scat), when I feel like it. And I simply LOVE them. (Dont worry, I KNOW the original melodies! ;-) Most of these postings were originally recorded by my friends in karaoke-bars here in Japan. (Many with handies! That explains the uneven sound-quality. And they all are improvised, which explains the uneven musical quality. But I flatter myself in thinking that I am rather good in anticipating what is coming in the accompaniment.) When I ran out of good songs in those bars, I sang some more - with famous musicians (wolf1750) - into my tiny pin-hole mike in the frame of my imac. Of those promptly about 100 were thrown out by the owners of the copyrights. This doesnt make any sense to me, since these are useless commercially because of my singing ...

REQUEST: skip intro ----- 1:13 My rendition of "Feeling Good" is a song written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the 1965 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd. It has been covered by many artists, including Nina Simone, Muse, Sammy Davis Jr., Michael Bublé, The Pussycat Dolls, George Michael, Adam Lambert and John Coltrane. The arrangement you hear on my rendition is from Michael Buble's 2005 album, "It's Time". I really liked the piano intro from his live performance featured in his "Caught in the Act" Album; so I borrowed it! : ) This is something a little different from me...but I hope you all enjoy it! Thanks for your time. Please rate, comment, share and subscribe! :)

This was our 2nd show together and our very first outdoor one which as you will see was rather eventful! Cassie was eager to jump but also in the mood to prat about somewhat! Im still learning how best to react and this time i tried on the whole to remain calm and relaxed when she messed about and then to push her on once she had started to listen again. Throughout the day she improved drastically and by the 3ft class i was trotting in the places where i felt she may play up and that seamed to confuse her enough to not have any sillyness.. .so thats good! Again the mishap in the 2ft6 didnt bother me at all and at the time my reaction was "what the hell happened there!" especially as i sat to much worse thing throughout the day! im putting it down to experience and us continuing to get to know one ...

The Blonde Bytch Project: Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie finally get a chance to shine in WWE, and it all falls apart because Vince has never heard of the Blair Witch Project. Yikes. Blu Twins: The Harris twins in the third of 713 failed personas. The Bodydonnas: Simon Dean, just 10 years earlier and with two guys instead of one. Yikes. Bastion Booger: Mike Shaw is crammed inside a dingy gray singlet and told to belch, fart, and eat stuff from a garbage can. REVIEW: The game based on the film 'Quantum of Solace is flawed. It showed good promise and looks the part. The major selling point for it (apart from the fact its a Bond game) is that the engine for Call of Duty 4 was used for the game. So whats wrong with it? 1. The game is short. 4-6 hours from start to finish. 2. Theres no sense of direction to some parts of the game. While i hate games that lead you by the hand, whats worse is a game where not knowing the path gets you killed. 3. Stealth is impossible. Being a secret agent, you would imagine the makers wuold have put in a better stealth system. Maybe they should have looked closely at 'Splinter Cell'-a great secret agent stealth game. 4. The difficulty level is flawed. Theres 4 levels-I started playing on hard, but could get past one of the 'mini press the button when you see it on the screen' game, despite pressing the correct button at the correct time! I re-started the game on normal difficulty and sailed through it. 5. The 'mini press the button when you see it on the screen' game really destroys this game for me. Theres quite a bit of unlocking & hacking using the d pad buttons. For some reason the makers thought it would be fun not toregister your correct input all of the time, and make it more dramatic by letting you get the very last input right. The game has some good points, (nice weapons and a good feel to them, sets are good graphically) but the above flaws make what could have been a good game, just ...

Old Fashioned Love - Vancouver Hot Five 1999 I learned this tune years ago from the 1923 Sidney Bechet recording with Clarence Williams Blue Five, which was a beautiful classic jazztune. I was pleased to find out that our reedplayer Lloyd Arntzen, who spent his live as a folksinger, early style reedman, ( clarinet: Dodds, sop.sax: Bechet) and schoolteacher liked to sing this tune. When our surprise guest Simon Stribling joined the band for this set, you'll hear us playing our two cornets. First behind Lloyd's vocal with the cornets in the background ( 4 bars Simon, 4 bars me, etc. ) after that Simon take a full chorus. probably one of the nicest I heard from him, this followed by a vere sensitive solo on sop. sax by Lloyd. Too bad that our little band was only together for very few public performances, we mainly enjoyed ourselves during impromptu rehearsal sessions. Great and always reliable sousaphone work by Steve Toren. Pianist Alan Matheson, who is basically a professional jazz trumpetist, enjoyed himself to be part of our band as a member of the rhythm group. I specially liked banjoist Bill Dixon, who is my favourite because of his tone, his rhythmic timing and overall feel. He has been around. In his youth in England he was already so good that he became the first banjoist of the Kenny Ball Band. I, Bob Erwig was just happy to be part of such a great team. This performance was a first, a one only of this tune during the 1999 Vancouver Jazz Festival. They made room ...

Tom: I actually quite like him. And that he sung for me was very cute. Christian: So where's the problem? Tom: I'm simply afraid of going through the same thing with him as with Ulli. Christian: That you'll fall in love? Tom: No. Yes. But not really. Christian: Could you repeat that in German? Tom: Christian, try to understand. I'd like to have a boyfriend who knows what he wants. Who has had some experiences. Christian: I'm 100% convinced Oliver knows what he wants. Tom: And what would that be? Christian: You, you schmuck. Nina: You did a great job.
