Yeah, another fake trailer. What, I really enjoyed making the "Battle Royale Remake" one I did before so I decided to try another one. It was a weird little thing, because the BR vid took me like 2 days whereas this one took me several weeks. I'm a huge fan of the Final Destination franchise (or, well, was; I still think 1 and 2 are classics and somehow managed to tolerate 4 pretty well) and this idea had been floating in my head for a while. I was actually planning to make this a 'teaser' where I just show quick flashes of accidents or whatever, instead of making it a full-length, proper trailer. I'm glad I decided to go the extra mile, because I'm very pleased with the final product. Sure, this one doesn't have any kind of character consistency, but I'm just awesome, not a magician. I also tried using less trailers as footage in this one and instead rip the movies myself, so that's why you won't see the IGN logo that much this time (though it's annoyingly obvious in the New Line logo; fuck, that looks terrible). Still, I think it's a pretty interesting mix of movies (full list at the bottom). Not much more to say. I'm learning to better structure these trailers (It's way tougher when you don't have a single movie and a single plot) and try and make them look realistic. In this case, more than realistic, I tried to make it look like a realistic entry in an existing series, which is pretty damn tough. I think I did it pretty well, at least in the set up (the accident bits ...
Plot: "It has been one year today since the tragic explosion of flight 180." After having a premonition of a horrific multi-car pileup on the highway, Kimberly panics and blocks off the offramp she is on holding up several cars. Kimberly tries to tell Officer Burke, who was one of the people behind her what was about to happen. As he looks at her in disbelief cars begin to crash and explode about 1/2 mile from them as they stare in shock. Later that same day, one of the survivors dies in a freak accident and Kimberly starts to wonder if the flight 180 incident and the events after weren't just a coincidence. Her only hope lies in Clear Rivers, the sole survivor of flight 180. Can she help them cheat death one more time? Alex Browning (portrayed by Devon Sawa) is going on a high school graduation trip to Paris with his fellow students. Before the Volée Air Flight 180's take-off, Alex has a premonition that the flight explodes in mid-air, killing everybody. Alex then wakes up and assumes the premonition was just a dream but as events from his vision begin to repeat themselves in reality, Alex panics and attempts to stop the flight before take-off. The resulting commotion leads to a handful of passengers being left behind, including Alex, a mysterious orphaned girl named Clear Rivers (Ali Larter), Alex's best friend Tod Waggner (Chad Donella), teacher Valerie Lewton (Kristen Cloke), Alex's rival Carter Horton (Kerr Smith), Carter's girlfriend: Terry Chaney (Amanda Detmer), and an ordinary student, Billy Hitchcock (Seann William Scott). After they are all forced off the plane, none of the passengers believe that Alex's vision will come true until the airliner takes off and explodes in mid-air killing everyone who was on board. After Tod is killed in a mysterious accident, Alex begins to think that Death is intervening to kill the survivors, because they were meant to die on the plane, and by still being alive they have changed death's plan. SYNOPSIS:Nick and some friends head to the racetrack for the weekend to watch a car race. , when the terrifying accident flys into the audience at 180 mph.
