NEW YORK CITY / Once known as a Wall Street bad boy, Ross Mandell has found himself fighting to prove his innocence. The former trader, who is accused in a $140-million global scheme, will appear on 'Money Rocks with Eric Bolling' Thursday night to talk about his new reality show. 'Money Rock' airs at 8 pm on FOX Business Channel. Mandell is allowing video cameras to film him and his family because, as he has said all along, he has nothing to hide. "Conventional wisdom for people in my situation says to lay low and lawyer up but everything I am prepared to do flies in the face of that conventional wisdom," says Mandell. Mandell is charged in a federal indictment in New York with bribing brokers and pressuring investors to buy into Sky Capital Holdings. He says he is not guilty of the charges. He is currently free on a $5-million bond. Mandell faces life in prison if he's convicted. Tea Party Movie Exec. Producer talks about his film with David Asman on Fox's "America's Nightly Scoreboard" This was truly a grassroots TV effort as Livingston arrived at the Atlanta Fox Bureau studio finding it closed and no one there! As show producers in NY scrambled to get crew to show up, Livingston convinced the security guard to open the studio offices in hopes crew would arrive in time. As the clock ticked down to his segment's "hit time", Livingston took matters into his own hands by turning on the studio's work lights, hooking up his own mic, earpiece and taking a seat in front of the camera, which was already "hot" to the NY control room. Sitting alone in the studio Livingston waited, hoping that crew would arrive to turn on the studio lights. With 60 seconds left 'till air, the security guard entered the studio and told Luke; "You gotta leave! My Boss says you can't be here alone and you gotta leave now!" Livingston explained that he was "ready to go nationwide" as the NY producers told Luke in his ear to "tell the guard to be quiet and go away!" 3, 2, 1 and that's live TV!
