Paul Joseph Watson www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv www.infowars.net October 20, 2010 With protesters in France entering a seventh day of strikes and demonstrations against draconian austerity measures, many political observers in the US are now wondering how long it will be before similar scenes unfold on American streets, with even Time Magazine now conceding that the prospect of a civil war in the States "doesn't seem that far fetched". To be clear, Stephen Gandel's article entitled Will the Federal Reserve Cause a Civil War? largely dismisses the possibility that the Fed's upcoming November 3rd meeting, during which Ben Bernanke is expected to announce a fresh round of money printing, will prompt national uproar, but it doesn't exactly debunk the notion of longer term social dislocation as a backlash to the crumbling economy, as many are now forecasting. As we highlighted yesterday in a piece that was later picked up by the Drudge Report, it's only a matter of time before Americans are hit with almost identical austerity measures to those that have caused the French to set up fuel blockades, stage running battles with riot police, halt air and rail travel, and virtually shut down some areas of the country. The question remains -- how will Americans react if the Obama administration pushes ahead with its plan to seize all private 401(k) pensions, which will be swallowed up by the Social Security Administration under the banner of mandatory Guaranteed Retirement ...

bit.ly Roger Federer faces Robin Soderling in the quarterfinals of the 2010 US Open... a rematch of the 2010 French Open quarterfinal that Soderling won in four sets. There are some big differences between then and now. The biggest difference is the surface. The slow clay of Roland Garros allowed Soderling plenty of time to set up and take huge cuts at the tennis ball. Second, Federer is playing much more aggressively than he was earlier this year. Paul Annacone seems to have had a positive effect on Roger's game in this regard. Ever aspect of his game is a bit bigger. Look for Federer to pull this match out in four sets and advance to the semifinals of the US Open. Soderling has to play incredibly well to take out Federer... and Federer's level has to come down a bit. Probably not going to happen.
Roger Federer lost two epic five-setters in Grand Slam Finals against Rafael Nadal in 2008 Wimbledon and 2009 Australian Open and people were writing him off and saying that his career is over and he won't win another Grand Slam and such things, but the king never dies, Federer started a resurgence by beating Rafael Nadal in the final of the Madrid Open on clay just before the French Open where Nadal was still considered as an overwhelming favorite, but Nadal lost in the 4th round to Sweden's Robin Soderling and this was Federer's best chance to fulfill his dream and he capitalized by beating the swede in straight sets in the final to win the French Open for the first time in his career, he followed that by winning a record-breaking 15th major tittle after winning an epic match against Andy Roddick 16-14 in the fifth set in front of many tennis legends including Pete Sampras who previously held the record for most Grand Slam tittles won, Federer then put the icing on the cake and erased all question marks with a sublime performance at the 2010 Australian Open which saw him lift his 16th major trophy. I think this is my best video, what do you think? also which part did you like the most? thanks to jacktennis25 and RFederer101 (formally Barreto101) for a few clips included in this video. bit.ly Roger Federer and Robin Soderling face off in the quarterfinals of the 2010 French Open -- a rematch of the 2009 Roland Garros final. Federer has never lost to Soderling in an ATP match. He's 12 - 0. Look for Soderling to establish backhand-to-backhand rallies and try to run around his backhand to take control of the point with his forehand. If the conditions are slow then that helps Soderling. A slower court will give him more time to get set and get through his mechanics. Further, Federer's forehand occasionally seemed to fall short against Wawrinka (in the previous round) when the conditions were very slow. If that happens again Soderling will have opportunities to attack.
Roger Federer - 2010 So Far! is my new hope you like it ;) Federer's year started very good by winning the Australian Open for the fourth time :) but then the beginning of the clay-court season and the end of the hardcourt season was terrible for him...he lost very soon in Miami, Indian Wells, Rome and Estoril. After all these painful defeats he reaches the final in Madird....but the question is can he win the French Open 2010 for the second time?
bit.ly -- Visit us for French Open coverage! Yesterday Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal faced each other in the Madrid final. This was the second straight year these two met in the final. This time around Rafa came out on top, 6 - 4, 7 - 6 (5). This was a strange match, particularly given Nadal's serve statistics. It was also an interesting match given how determined both players were to run around their respective backhands to hit forehands. Ultimately, Nadal's execution was better than Federer's and that was the difference in the match. During the 2010 French Open we'll be doing daily preview videos and a live, 30 minute webcast on our website. Please give us some suggestions on what you'd like to see, the format, and so on. Thanks!
Considered at the time to be a blisteringly hard hititing match, Chrissie and Steffi exchange some dynamite winners in the finals of the Lipton International finals of 1986, a 2-week event only 1 tier down from the majors, and an event in which Chris never failed to at least reach the finals. She hands Steffi a convincing defeat, but it's still a changing of the guard in that Steffi is beginning to reach her period of destiny and Chris at 31 is entering what she would later call "a new phase of her career...it's called end of career." Still, she had one last grand slam victory left in her, as she took the French title a few months later, and one other Slam final appearance at the '88 Australian Open. *commentators are Arthur Ashe & Pam Shriver.

Roger Federer, maybe the greatest of all time...
1989 French Open Michael Chang v Ivan Lendl Part 8
Roger Federer has had to go through a lot over the last year. Losing his worlds No.1, losing to Rafael Nadal in an epic final in Wimbledon, losing to Rafael Nadal in Australian Open 2009 Finals, and then smashing his raquet in Miami against Novak Djokovic. A lot of people were writing him off and questioning his dominance. After the hard court season things were not going so good, he still did not have a title going into Madrid. Where the near by impossible happened. Roger Federer defeating Rafael Nadal in the finals of Madrid, and may I add it was on clay. After that it seemed that he was nearly unbeatable. Going into the French Open Roger Federer was not a favorite to win the title. But in the 4th round something that has not happened to Rafael Nadal happened, he lost to Robin Soderling. On the other hand Roger Federer had to go through epic matchs, going the distance against Tommy Haas coming back from two sets to none. Then beating Juan Martin del Potro in the Semi's in five sets. Roger Federer won the one title missing from his amazing list of achievements. After that Roger Federer felt like there was no more pressure to win the one title missing, with that said you know he wanted his Wimbledon title back. In a rematch of the 04,05 Finals rematch, Roger Federer versed Andy Roddick for the title both wanted and needed, on one side Andy Roddick has wanted this title forever and has always been on the short end losing to Roger Federer three times here. One the other ...

I have composed this ballad as my reaction to the news that Rafa will be coming back in time for the US Open. I'd be delighted if this happens... A Ballad for Rafa Tomorrow's gonna come When the sun blazes Its myriad hues Blue cotton hovers Swiftly ushering in, sparkling moods. Tomorrow's gonna come When the snowy maned lion Lurks the ethereal-like dungeon Its pillow-soft dagger floats, tenderly piercing through The sharp-edged volatile rants. Tomorrow's gonna come When the tranced fandom climbs The infamous sycamore tree Impishly spying at, the thunderous thuds Of bygone missed shots. Tomorrow's gonna come When the breathtaking bloody-red horizon Flashes its anaesthetic smile Swigly sucking out the seas ebb-tide Producing an arid camels desert. Tomorrow's gonna come When earthly weakling keepers Stand up in muscled arms In unison, pursue to wrestle the faithful fawning of figwort peccants. Tomorrow's gonna come When all has healed To the worn-out helmsman Quick return as the lightning dances Following an electrifying thunderbolt. Tomorrow's gonna come When Rafas minions Be swayed back to addicting scut work Logging on at rafaelnadal.com Or at rn.activeboard forum. Tomorrow's gonna come When Rafa returns to top spinning Pants tugging, hair shaking And all those trophies We all so dearly miss.

Roger Federer interview after defeating Robin Soderling in the Roland Garros 2009 Final . Roger Federer became the sixth man in history to win all four Grand Slam singles titles when he produced an exceptional performance to defeat Swede Robin Soderling 6-1, 7-6(1), 6-4 in the Roland Garros final on Sunday.
