Sri Devadhirajan (Sriman Narayana) Ekantha Seva during 2009 December Adhyayana Utsavam at ShanguChakra Home. The accompanying Carnatic Krithi "Narayana Ninna Namada" is a Purandaradasa composition in Udayaravichandrika Raaga rendered by Violin Maestros Ganesh & Kumaresh. Udayaravichandrika (Sanskrit: उदयरविचन्द्रिका, Tamil: உதயரவிச்சந்த்ரிகா) is a rāgam in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is an audava rāgam (or owdava rāgam, meaning pentatonic scale ), and is also known as Shuddha Dhanyasi (pronounced Shuddha Dhanyāsi, Sanskrit: शुद्ध दन्यासि, Tamil: சுத்த தன்யாஸி). It is a janya rāgam (derived scale), as it does not have all the seven swaras (musical notes). It empahsizes the value of reciting Sriman Narayana's namam everyday. Vishnu is always to be depicted holding the four attributes associated with him, being: 1.A conch shell or Shankha, named "Panchajanya", held by the upper left hand, which represents Vishnu's power to create and maintain the universe. The Panchajanya represents the five elements or Panchabhoota - water, fire, air, earth and sky or space. It also represents the five airs or Pranas that are within the body and mind. The conch symbolizes that Vishnu is the primeval Divine sound of creation and universal maintenance. it also represented as Om. Subramaniya Iyer followed the traditions of the great composer Tyagaraja. He has left behind almost one hundred compositions.Subramaniya Iyer was born in Thiruvaiyaru in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. His family had a long history of musical involvement - his father Bharatam Vaidyanatha Iyer was adept at both music and Sastra and his grandfather Panchanada Sastri was the court musician in the court of Serfoji Maharaja of Thanjavur. Subramaniya Iyer learnt music from his uncle, Melattur Ganapati Sastri and later under Manambuchavadi Venkatasubbayyar.Subramaniya Iyer spent a long time in Chennapatnam (Chennai). This gave Subramaniya Iyer the prefix to his name. According to Superintendent of Police Ganesh KC, chief of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, the role of international criminals has been established and the killers will soon be nabbed. Shahs murder has been carried out by someone from the Chhota Rajan gang, KC told the Post. He said the phone calls made to Cable Television Association and Avenues TV on Monday and interrogations of more than a dozen people indicate that the killers had arrived in Kathmandu on a mission to kill Shah. Bharat Nepali, an aide of Chhota Rajan, called the association and Avenues TV claimed responsibility for Shahs killing, alleging that Shah was involved in anti-Indian activities. The call details obtained from Nepal Telecom and leads from people close to Shah and Yunus Ansari (who was arrested a few weeks ago for his alleged involvement in a fake Indian currency racket) pointed out the involvement of the Chhota Rajan group, according to police. Far from it, and the perky Preity doesnt want any comparisons or confusion with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who shook her hips for father and son Bachchan in the 2005 hit Bunty Aur Babli. SYNOPSIS: Quick Gun Murugun is the story of a South Indian cowboy whose duty is to literally, protect the cows of the world; from non-veg restaurant owners like, Rice Plate Reddy whose mission is to create the ultimate non-veg dosa! But while protecting a village from Rice Plate Reddy, Quick Gun Murugun ends up getting shot and killed and transported to Heaven. But with special persmission fro Chitragupta in Heaven, 25 years later in 2008, Murugan reincarnates as himself - thanks to a lifetime of devotion towards vegetarianism. He sets out to find Rice Plate Reddy, who is currently trying to start up a Dosa franchise called McDosa. In fact, he resorts to kidnapping moms from around the country to find the perfect Dosa recipe with mothers love in it; and then stuffs it with meat! So, Quick Gun enters into an epic battle of vegetarianism vs. non-vegetarianism. The movie revolves around adventures of Quick Gun Murugun along with his love to-be Mango Dolly and Locket Girl. Actually Quick gun is torn between Mango Dolly, who is RicePlateReddys moll but who loves Murugan secretly; as well as his long-dead first love Locket Girl. And his loyalty is put to the test. All the while as an Austin Powers meet Hot Shots meets Rajnikanth hangover kind of cinema has us in splits. And matters come to a crazy head in an insane, leave-your-brains-at-home type climax. In the ancient times, it was occupied by Maharaja Madho Singh's son. Still, the enchanting Palace belongs to the royal family. Today, it makes home for Rajmata Gayatri Devi and her son, Jagat Singh. However, the palace is not open for public.
