Scooter recorded his first music at age 8. However, he considers his big break to be when Chris Brown invited him to dance on stage at the Grammy Awards. Scooter later made appearances in Brown's videos for "Kiss Kiss" and "Wall to Wall" as well as on tour. It's no surprise that Scooter Smiff was then signed to Chris Brown's CBE Records, distributed by Interscope, as a recording artist. The single "Head of My Class" includes a featured appearance from Chris Brown. It is the title song from Scooter Smiff's upcoming debut album.
