In this film, Yaw briefly shares the difficulties he encountered as an English language learner. With the support of his parents and a special teacher, Yaw endured and excelled in the schools of Dallas to become an exceptional Science teacher.

The Garland ISD Children's Chorus opened The American Heart Association 3K Walk on September 11, 2010 at Victory Park in downtown Dallas. About 40000 people were expected to be present. The children did a beautiful job singing "An American Anthem" ...by the time that they were finished singing, everyones heart was filled with patriotism. The GISD Childrens Chorus is made up of 4th and 5th graders representing nearly all 47 elementary schools in Garland. The choir is directed by Brenda Hass.
