Frozen hell of a girl we got here. In the beginning she has a normal, dodgeable attack and ice spells. Later on, she gains triple attack which cannot be dodged and diamond dust, which is non elemental non reflectable magic damage to all. Last one, however, takes a while to be accessed. She also got a fractional damage attack that, besides draining a fraction of MP as well, sets Stop. This is the skill needed to be considered for Garment Grids, leaving two of them for the girls: Highroad Winds and Mounted Assault. Of course, girls get these two and step through Stopproof Gate asap. Yuna boosts her HP while Rikku and Paine go EVA / Reflect and later Shell with Mighty Guard. After that, lets consider our offense: Shiva is weak to Fire, but has a hell lot of MDEF. However, she is not immune to stat changes. Heavens Cataract is guaranteed to lower both DEF and MDEF by 2 levels. That and having Yuna use Focus make excellent buffs. However, as you see, it is still pretty poor damage output. I had expected more but finished it either way. I also tried applying slow, Shiva is not supposed to be immune though I didn't see any effect. Also, I buffed DEF/MDEF a bit in order for Yuna to survive Triple Attack/Diamond Dust, which is more or less guaranteed to come once with this strategy. Seeing it from now that I beat Vegnagun, I would also say it would have been much easier to just throw a lot of Potion+Supreme Gem Mixes at her. Still liked the way I beat this one though.

Getting Alchemist DSP is easier sayd than done. A few battles have to be won for it, and probably the worst ones are against Queen Couerl. She is one that uses Killer Blaster and L3 elemental magic while having resistances to all of them and high HP. Killer Blaster can be resisted by getting Deathproof from Garment Grid while elemental skills can be reflected. That little thing with Couerl is rendered useless by having the Songstress EVA dance on top of that. Yep, nearly immortal again. Fight afterwards is not hard at all, just showed it for the sake of having it there. My my my, Leablanc is back and we get to fight her one final time. I had to turn battle speed to slowest and mode to wait at this time to get things done. Once that was done the battle was very easy. Just gotta buff up against melee attacks and nuke Leblanc asap. Really, Minerva Bustier is just too good. Two battles await inside Bevelle that actually are not bosses, but as they are forced I included them anyway. Percepts Guard might cast Death so Yuna is taking Deathproof. Other then that however, there is barely anything threatening about it. Just kill it fast enough and it works. Nearly the same with Georapella. It only uses spells, so Auto Reflect on Yuna from GG and cast away.
Gyaku-waza is the art of protecting oneself against unprovoked acts of physical violence. The term, Gyaku-waza, literally means reversal-techniques, and describes a group of close-quarter self-defense practices originally developed to be used against being violently seized and controlled by an aggressive opponent. Dating back to a time before the development and propagation of modern styles, these old-school self-defense practices are based entirely upon those original empty-handed and one-against-one domestic acts of physical violence, which habitually plagued the 19th century southern Chinese culture, from where this art evolved. Gyaku-waza represents the pathway between physical engagement, responding appropriately and controlling or submitting an opponent, without the use of lethal force. Once cloaked in an iron-clad ritual of secrecy these time-honoured, and highly functional prescribed application practices, employ an impressive collection of fighting tactics ranging from percussive impact, joint manipulation, limb entanglement, nerve pressure and cavity seizing, to blood and air deprivation, balance displacement, and controlling an opponent in both a standing clinch and or on the ground. The attack scenarios range from the classical wrist, hair and garment grabs, being seized from various standing positions, the dangerous clinch, headlock, full nelson, and various kinds of bear hugs, to different kinds of chokes, joint-locks and limb manipulations, single/double ...

Genesis Chapter 39: 1And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. 2And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. 5And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. 6And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. 7And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10And it came to pass, as she spake to ...
The Evzones, or Evzoni, is the name of several historical elite light infantry and mountain units of the Greek Army. Today, it refers to the members of the Proedriki Froura (Presidential Guard), an elite ceremonial unit that guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier the Hellenic Parliament and the Presidential Mansion. The Evzones are also known, colloquially, as Tsoliades. Though the Presidential Guard is a predominantly ceremonial unit, all Evzones are volunteers drawn from the Hellenic Army's Infantry, Artillery and Armoured Corps. Prospective Evzones are usually identified at the Army Recruit Training Centres during Basic Training; there is a minimum height requirement of 1.86 meters to join, and the soldier must serve a minimum of 6 months with an operational Army unit before beginning Evzone training. The unit is famous around the world for its unique traditional uniform, which has evolved from the clothes worn by the klephts who fought the Ottoman (Turkish) occupation of Greece. What do you think about people who choose to wear the burqa? The burqa/burka is an enveloping outer garment worn by women in some Islamic traditions for the purpose of hiding a female's body when out in public. The burqa is usually understood to be the woman's loose body-covering (Arabic: jilbāb), plus the head-covering (Arabic: ḥijāb, taking the most usual meaning), plus the face-veil (Arabic: niqāb). There is evidence that this type of dress was worn by some Arab and Persian women long before Islam. For example, the Roman African Christian Tertullian, writing in Chapter 17 of The Veiling of Virgins around 200 AD, praises the modesty of those "pagan women of Arabia" who "not only cover their head, but their whole face...preferring to enjoy half the light with one eye rather than prostituting their whole face." The Quran has been translated as stating: "O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the faithful to draw their outergarments (jilbabs) close around themselves; that is better that they will be recognized and not annoyed. And God is ever Forgiving, Gentle." Another verse in the Quran is translated as: "And say to the faithful women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their headcoverings (khimars) to cover their bosoms (jaybs), and not to display their beauty except to their husbands..." Before the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, the burqa was ...
The red coat has evolved from being the British infantryman's ordinary uniform to a garment retained only for ceremonial purposes. Its official adoption dates from February 1645, when the Parliament of England passed the New Model Army ordinance. The new English Army (there was no 'Britain' until the union with Scotland in 1707) was formed of 22000 men, divided into 12 foot regiments of 1200 men each, 11 horse regiments of 600 men each, one dragoon regiment of 1000 men, and the artillery, consisting of 50 guns. The infantry regiments wore coats of Venetian red with white facings. However, the uniforms of the Yeoman of the Guard (formed 1485) and the Yeomen Warders (also formed 1485) have traditionally been in Tudor red and gold and indicate that the tradition of English Infantry wearing red coats may long predate the formation of the New Model Army. Oliver Cromwell wrote to Sir William Spring in 1643: "I had rather have a plain, russet-coated captain that knows what he fights for, and loves what he knows, than that which you call a gentleman and is nothing else" (Oxford Dictionary of Quotations) The adoption and continuing use of red by most English soldiers after the Restoration (1660) was the result of circumstances rather than policy, including the relative cheapness of red dyes. There is no known basis for the myth that red coats were favoured because they did not show blood stains. Blood does in fact show on red clothing as a black stain. From an early stage red ...
Islamist/Salafi preacher Zakir Naik gives comprehensive answer regarding the Beating of Wife in Islam in accordance to Holy Qur'an and Sahih Hadith. Malachi 2 (New International Version) Malachi 2 Admonition for the Priests 1 "And now this admonition is for you, O priests. 2 If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name," says the LORD Almighty, "I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me. 3 "Because of you I will rebuke [a] your descendants [b] ; I will spread on your faces the offal from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it. 4 And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue," says the LORD Almighty. 5 "My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name. 6 True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin. 7 "For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction—because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty. 8 But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi," says the LORD Almighty. 9 "So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law." Equip Samurai Honor GG again for a great boost in Yuna's attack. Start with Thief again (First Strike ability learned), immediately switching to Omatsurishi (Festival-Goer) as the battle starts. Use the dressphere to buff Yuna, as it has considerable high MP. and HP to withstand Humbaba's attacks. Cast No Fear first to cut Humbaba's damage by 1/2, then Hayate for Haste and increase in evasion. The enemy will start the battle by casting Mighty Guard, so immediately switch to White Mage and use Dispel. Fingersnap ability of Samurai is also recommended to use to return its attributes to normal. Pass through the Garment Grid's gates to boost Yuna's physical attack. Use the Magicide ability to deplete Humbaba's MP, as he'll cast Mighty Guard again after losing around 60% of HP. If Yuna is in critical state, switch to Alchemist Dressphere to use Hi-Potion (Items Lv.2 and Chemist learned). Before killing the enemy off, make sure to have Shell on, and at least 2600+ HP. I recommend switching to Dark Knight Dressphere when you can already kill it in your last hit.

After all the reports about the Christian Louboutin sample sale, I thought I'd check out the line outside the building in the Garment District this morning. There was a short line that went down the street. It didn't look long but when I asked how long the wait was, a Daily Candy writer standing in line told me the wait was two hours (this was at 10am). The writer had an invite. I was too late getting my RSVP in so I didn't stick around. I did ask the security guard if they were allowing the public into the sale at all today. He said "NO. Only those with invitations." So if you're thinking of trying your luck, I would forgetaboutit.
Award winning fashion doyenne, Vivienne Westwood, presented her fall Red Label collection. Famous for her asymmetrical draped jersey pieces and avant-guard corsetry, the show offered a twist on the naughty schoolgirl look, complete with an invitation in the style of a school report card. Inspired by British culture throughout her lengthy career, Westwood describes her unique designing style as 'the adaptation of historical garment construction into modern clothing'.
What Does the Bible Say About Divorce, Is Divorce Allowed as a Christian? Matthew 19:6 "So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate" Malachi 2:16 "I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith." Ephesians 5:25-33 "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— 30for we are members of his body. 31"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." 32This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband." Matthew 5:32 "But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery." He sounded the trumpet and shouted, "We have no share in David, no part in Jesse's son! Every man to his tent, O Israel!" 2 So all the men of Israel deserted David to follow Sheba son of Bicri. But the men of Judah stayed by their king all the way from the Jordan to Jerusalem. 3 When David returned to his palace in Jerusalem, he took the ten concubines he had left to take care of the palace and put them in a house under guard. He provided for them, but did not lie with them. They were kept in confinement till the day of their death, living as widows. 4 Then the king said to Amasa, "Summon the men of Judah to come to me within three days, and be here yourself." 5 But when Amasa went to summon Judah, he took longer than the time the king had set for him. 6 David said to Abishai, "Now Sheba son of Bicri will do us more harm than Absalom did. Take your master's men and pursue him, or he will find fortified cities and escape from us." 7 So Joab's men and the Kerethites and Pelethites and all the mighty warriors went out under the command of Abishai. They marched out from Jerusalem to pursue Sheba son of Bicri. 8 While they were at the great rock in Gibeon, Amasa came to meet them. Joab was wearing his military tunic, and strapped over it at his waist was a belt with a dagger in its sheath. As he stepped forward, it ...

ARTICLE 1 THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM 1213 Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua),4 and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."5 I. WHAT IS THIS SACRAMENT CALLED? 1214 This sacrament is called Baptism, after the central rite by which it is carried out: to baptize (Greek baptizein) means to "plunge" or "immerse"; the "plunge" into the water symbolizes the catechumen's burial into Christ's death, from which he rises up by resurrection with him, as "a new creature."6 1215 This sacrament is also called "the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit," for it signifies and actually brings about the birth of water and the Spirit without which no one "can enter the kingdom of God."7 1216 "This bath is called enlightenment, because those who receive this [catechetical] instruction are enlightened in their understanding . . . ."8 Having received in Baptism the Word, "the true light that enlightens every man," the person baptized has been "enlightened," he becomes a "son of light," indeed, he becomes "light" himself:9 Baptism is God's most beautiful and magnificent gift. . . .We call it gift, grace, anointing, enlightenment, garment of immortality, bath of ...
PART TWO THE CELEBRATION OF THE CHRISTIAN MYSTERY SECTION TWO THE SEVEN SACRAMENTS OF THE CHURCH CHAPTER ONE THE SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION 1212 The sacraments of Christian initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist - lay the foundations of every Christian life. "The sharing in the divine nature given to men through the grace of Christ bears a certain likeness to the origin, development, and nourishing of natural life. The faithful are born anew by Baptism, strengthened by the sacrament of Confirmation, and receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life. By means of these sacraments of Christian initiation, they thus receive in increasing measure the treasures of the divine life and advance toward the perfection of charity."3 ARTICLE 1 THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM 1213 Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua),4 and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men). That is better in order that they may be known (to be Muslims) and not annoyed... Say to the believing man that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that will make for greater purity for them; and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; and that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands..." [Noble Quran 24:30-31] Women must not dress so as to appear as men. "Ibn Abbas narrated: 'The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the men who appear like women and the women who appear like men.'" [Bukhari] For both men and women, clothing requirements are not meant to be a restriction but rather a way in which society will function in a proper, Islamic manner.

Two Garment Grid are effective in this battle: Heart of Flame (from Foggy Fiend Frenzy mission) and Helios Guard. Heart of Flame absorbs Flame Breath for about 180-200, while the latter will reduce the boss's physical attacks (pass through the red gate to activate Auto-Protect). He's weak to Ice, so better make use of it. For Warrior, Yuna can keep using Ice Brand. I wouldn't recommend using Black Mage since its Defense is relatively low. In the case of Festival Goer / Omatsurishi, if Yuna has learned Ice Geta, it would be much easier just like what I did. She will randomly cast Blizzard / Blizzara / Blizzaga.
