Select footage from an enthralling trip aboard the Punalur - Tirunelveli MG passenger. The Punalur - Bhagavathipuram line cuts through the Western Ghats to connect Kerala with Tamilnadu and is, unquestionably, one of the most spectacular sections in IR. The best time to undertake this trip is in the monsoon season where one gets to enjoy the lush green foliage. Note how the train grinds its way through steep slopes and curves.
