I backtrack to the crystal cave to annihilate a giant spider that killed me multiple times previously. Why? Because no creature in all of Arx is allowed to overpower Am Sheagar. ESPECIALLY not spiders. On a side not, the insect-like enemies in Arx Fatalis can be pretty creepy. Wait until you see the giant worms later in the game. They still give me nightmares. Arx Fatalis is an underrated first-person RPG developed by the French Arkane Studios. The game draws heavily from the classic Ultima Underworld games to create a game with a very strong atmosphere. For those who didn't get the game at GOG.Com, here's a patch that will upgrade your patch to v1.19. Arkane Studios made this patch for GOG so users would be able to run the game in higher resolution. www.mediafire.com PS: I apologize for the rather terrible quality of the video. Recording gameplay is rather taxing on my low-end PC. So don't bother watching it in HD.

It focuses on the attack by a Night Watcher named Katie who follows Grace and Abigail (Grace's Grandmother) into the House of Reliana. After they finally discover where the Sceptre's located, Katie flys down and pushes Abigail off the long precipice that stretches halfway across the giant, crystal-made, floorless cave. She then flys out into the house (it has rooms ten times bigger than the actual house so when you open a door in the hallway, it leads to massive rooms or in this case, caves) and then down the hallway, throught the front door and out into the front yard. Grace, fueled with the anger of killing Abigail, chases after Katie and is almost killed by a surprise attack in the front yard by the Night Watcher. Abigail, flys out of the house and chases her away from the her granddaughter. The music features a sinister one-beat drum line with cellos coming in with a low, building sensation. It then breaks into a driving violin motif that represents Katie flying into the cave and pushing Abigail of the precipice.The music finally ends with a cheeriful melody representing Abigail and Grace flying away to retreive the Sceptre. The Naica Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico, is a working mine that is known for its extraordinary crystals.
