This is a very cool and unique airport. The real airport has a freeway/road intersect the actually runway. Its not shown in FSX though. Only if i had a super computer, then the scenery would look much more better and realistic. But I think Cessna154 will make a video on this airport and he has a super computer so it well look great. And also, im kidding at the end of the video, you'll find out... XD.

History of Gibraltar
Landing at Gatwick Airport On BA from Gibraltar Airport
Eric and I crossed the runway for the Airport of Gibraltar just before a plane took off. This provided a great photo opportunity since the road was deserted. Of course, the ground control wasn't too happy with us as can be heard with the announcement over the loudspeaker. From what I've read, the pedestrian path will continue to be open even after the new air terminal and bypass road is built. However, I would recommend getting a chance to cross it on foot if you have the opportunity to ...
This video is of an airplane taking off while crossing the runway at the Gibraltar Airport. Since the only road in and out of Gibraltar goes across an active runway, it must be closed each time there is a landing or takeoff at the airport. This situation will be remedied once the new terminal for the Gibraltar Airport is opened. In the new flow private vehicle traffic will be routed around the east side of the airport on an extension of Devils Tower Rd. Buses and pedestrians will continue to ...

On a day trip from Malaga, Spain, we crossed over to Gibraltar, UK. In this clip, we cross the border and stop at the runway to allow for a British Airways Airbus A320 to cross.
The only road in and out of Gibraltar crosses the runway. There are boom gates on the runway that close off the main road when the 2 flights in and out in the morning and the 2 flights in and out in the evening are scheduled. Crazy stuff, but that's Gibraltar!
Kiedy samolot startuje z lotniska na Gibraltarze, obsługa lotniska musi wstrzymać ruch na drodze, która krzyżuje się z pasem startowym. Dziwne i fascynujące jednocześnie. www.podroznikowanie.com --- When an airplane starts from Gibraltar Airport they have to stop traffic on the road which crosses the airstrip. This is strange and fascinating at the same time www.podroznikowanie.com
To let the plane land/start they have to stop road traffic as the runway crosses main street that is the only way to land border with Spain.
Gibraltar airport, short runway but landing and take off perfect.
Gibraltar airport is located about 300 yards from the town centre and there is a road the runs through it so when a flight is arriving the road is closed. I was there to witness it,just watch and see.
