Lulu runs into Johnny down on the docks. He tells her that he knows that Dante is an undercover cop. She asks what he is going to do about this knowledge, and he assures her nothing. He expresses concern to her about the position that Dante has put her in with Luke and Sonny. Dante shows up at that point, and he hears what Johnny is saying to Lulu. Lulu and Dante leave then and go back to his room. Lulu wants Dante, but his conscience is bothering him after what Johnny said, and he pushes her away and tells her to go.

For more info - www.eagle-rock.com Meat Loafs Bat Out Of Hell is one of the most iconic albums of the seventies. Released in October 1977 it has sold in excess of 40 million copies worldwide. In the UK it is certified 10 x Platinum for more than 3 million sales. This concert from the Stadthalle Offenbach in Germany was filmed in June 1978 for the German Rockpalast TV series and perfectly captures the raw excitement of the original Bat Out Of Hell tour with Meat Loaf dominating the stage and the albums songwriter Jim Steinman contributing heavily. Most of the tracks from the album are featured alongside covers of Johnny B Goode and River Deep, Mountain High. This is a superb film of the original Bat Out Of Hell tour. Tracklisting: 1) Great Boleros Of Fire 2) Bat Out Of Hell 3) You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night) 4) All Revved up With No Place To Go 5) Paradise By The Dashboard Light (Featuring Karla DeVito) 6) Introducing The Band 7) Johnny B Goode 8) River Deep, Mountain High (Featuring Karla DeVito) 9) Johnny B Goode (reprise) 10) Two Out Of Three Aint Bad 11) All Revved Up With No Place To Go (reprise)

Good pass on Coulthard in the last lap, back in 1997. In this race tire wear was abnormally high, Coulthard's tires were gone at the moment I guess. Excellent move by Johnny though! This was the last year they raced the wider cars. From 1998 they introduced those strange looking small cars. Nowadays nobody notices anymore, I think today's cars look like goofy F3 cars.
LYRICS: Oh there's something 'bout a man in black, Makes me want to buy a cadillac, Throw the top back, And roll down to Jackson town, I wanna be there on the stage with you, You and I could be the next rage to, Hear the crowd roar, Make 'em one more, I'll kick the footlights out, I wanna love like Johnny and June, Rings of fire burnin' with you, I wanna walk the line, Walk the line, 'Till the end of time, I wanna love, Love ya that much, Cash it all in, Give it all up, When you're gone, I wanna go too, Like Johnny and June, I wanna hold you baby right or wrong, Build a world around a country song, Pray a sweet prayer, Follow you there, Down in history, I wanna love like Johnny and June, Rings of fire burnin' with you, I wanna walk the line, Walk the line, 'Till the end of time, I wanna love, Love ya that much, Cash it all in, Give it all up, When you're gone, I wanna go too, Like Johnny and June, Like Johnny and June, More than life itself, No-one else, This here is promise, They don't make love like that anymore, Is that too much to be askin' for, I wanna love like Johnny and June, Rings of fire burnin' with you, I wanna walk the line, Walk the line, 'Till the end of time, I wanna love, Love ya that much, Cash it all in, Give it all up, When you're gone, I wanna go too, Like Johnny and June, Like Johnny and June, And when we're gone, There'll be no tears to cry, Only memories of our lives, They'll remember, remember, A love like that.
The Devil Comes Back To Georgia Lyrics whoo hoo! Lyrics: Been ten long years since the Devil laid his fiddle at Johnny's feet And it burned inside his mind the way he suffered that defeat In the darkest pits of Hell the Devil hatched an evil plan To temp the fiddle player For he's just a mortal man The sin of pride the Devil cried is what will do you in I thought we had this settled, I'm the best that's ever been Johnny did you ever know that time keeps marching on? The coldest hour is the one comes just before the dawn The Devil's back in Georgia will you stand up to the test? Or will you let the Devil be the best? Truth is I haven't played much since the baby came in June But give me half a minute and I'll get this fiddle back in tune The Devil grabbed the golden fiddle out of Johnny's hand and said Boy I'm the fiddle player underground and I walk along the land Ya'll better just be turning back if you want this boy to win 'Cuz practice is the only cure for the predicament he's in Now Devil it would be a sin for you to get my bow So you go on back to Hell to the woodshed I will go Johnny are you practicing or will your hands grow cold? The Devil walks the land and plays a fiddle made of gold Can you hear the babe a cryin'? Will he ever know the Devil wants his daddy's very soul? Before we play I wanna thank you for letting God's own word ring true He said you can't be trusted Yeah so what you gonna do? Well you get your fiddle Devil if you think that you can win I beat ...

PLEASE NOTE: I divided my uploads between multiple channels, Bookmark this link in your browser for instant access to an index with links to all of John1948's oldies classics. LINK: tinyurl.com Named after a brand of tissues, the four members of the Statler Brothers did not in fact share a fraternal bond; what they did share, however, was the distinction of being one of the most successful vocal harmony groups in the history of country music. Formed in the group's home base of Staunton, VA, in 1955, the Statlers were originally a church trio comprised of bass vocalist Harold Reid (born August 21, 1939), baritone Phil Balsley (August 8, 1939), and tenor Lew DeWitt (March 8, 1938). In 1960, Reid's younger brother Don (born June 5, 1945) signed on to take the lead vocal reins, and the quartet performed gospel music under the name the Kingsmen. After arranging a meeting with the promotional department for a local Johnny Cash concert, the Kingsmen were asked to open the performance. Cash was so impressed that he invited the group to join the tour, and after changing their name to the Statler Brothers, they remained on the road with Cash from 1963 to 1971. The Statlers signed to Columbia Records in 1964 and a year later scored a huge country and pop hit with DeWitt's "Flowers on the Wall," which also lent its name to their 1966 debut album. 1967's The Statler Brothers Sing the Big Hits held true to its title's promise, generating a pair of Top Ten singles in "Ruthless" and "You ...

I was feeling kind of down 'till my brother came around With that cool looking L on his forehead. Well, he said "Hey Brother, we still got each other. Bowser's just a jerk who never had a mother. I know your plunger's locked up on that shack, So we'll knock down the door and get it back. Take up a stand and follow me, Ash just called and he needs a buddy. His toilet is clogged up again. Oingo Boingo!!! xP Johnny was bad, even as a child everybody could tell Everyone said if you don't get straight You'll surely go to hell But Johnny didn't care He was an outlaw by the time that he was Ten years old He didn't wanna do what he was told Just a prankster, juvenile gangster His teachers didn't understand They kicked him out of school At a tender early age Just because he didn't want to learn things (Had other interests) He liked to burn things The lady down the block She had a radio that Johnny wanted oh so bad So he took it the first chance he had Then he shot her in the leg And this is what she said Only a lad You really can't blame him Only a lad Society made him Only a lad He's our responsibility Only a lad He really couldn't help it Only a lad He didn't want to do it Only a lad He's underprivileged and abused Perhaps a little bit confused His parents gave up they couldn't influence his attitude Nobody could help The little man had no gratitude And when he stole the car Nobody dreamed that he would Try to take it so far He didn't mean to hit the poor man Who had to go and die It made the judge cry It's not his fault that he can't believe It's not his fault that he can't behave Society made him go astray Perhaps if we're nice he'll go away Perhaps he'll go away He'll go away Hey there Johnny you really don't fool me You get away with murder And you think it's funny You don't give a damn if we live or if we die Hey there Johnny boy I hope you fry!

THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN - Go Johnny Go Go Go Go!
Lyrics: Well, you wonder why I always dress in black, Why you never see bright colors on my back, And why does my appearance always have a somber tone. Well, there's a reason for the things that I have own. I wear the black for the poor and the beaten down, Livin' in the hopeless, hungry side of town, And I wear it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime, But still is there because he's a victim of the times. I wear the black for those who never read, Or listened to the words that Jesus said, About the road to happiness through love and charity, Why, you'd think He's talking straight to you and me. Well, we're doin' mighty fine, I do suppose, In our streak of lightnin' cars and fancy clothes, But just so we're reminded of the ones who are held back, Up front there ought 'a be a Man In Black. I wear it for the sick and lonely old, For the reckless ones whose bad trip left them cold, I wear the black in mornin' for the lives that could have been, Each week we lose a hundred fine young men. And, I wear it for the thousands who have died, Believen' that the Lord was on their side, And I wear it for another hundred thousand who have died, Believen' that we all were on their side. Well, there's things that never will be right I know, And things need changin' everywhere you go, But 'til we start to make a move to make a few things right, You'll never see me wear a suit of white. Ah, I'd love to wear a rainbow every day, To tell the world that everything's OK, But maby I ...
