Internet service providers are claiming Google (GOOG) has an edge when it comes to net neutrality rules, which are expected to be issued by the FCC, as they limit the ability of high-speed Internet service providers like cable companies to steer users to their own content. Former Google executive Andrew McLaughlin, who now works for the White House on Internet policy, has reportedly been in contact with former Google colleagues about the administration's stance on net neutrality.

personalmoneystore.com Google in China may no longer be available, according to several online news reports. Google had originally agreed to censor search results in China in order to meet with the Chinese government's requirements. Despite differences between Google and China, Google saw an opportunity to get their "foot in the door" to the very large Chinese market encouraged Google to work with the requirements of the government in China. However, on January 12, Google announced a "New approach to China", a movement that was initiated after multiple cyber attacks occurred on Google, as well as on Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists and advocates. Back in the mid 2000s, the corporations were lobbying the US government to allow them to privatize the Internet. The argument for this was that not privatizing it was a waste of potential revenue. However, there was the issue of the telecommunications companies not actually having any right to do this. The issue of Net neutrality vs. privatization has far from gone away and the pursuit to rein in the Internet has just shifted its tactics from privatizing for profit to doing so for 'security', but it's really the same old issue with a new face. One way or another, they want to disable the free flow of information. I see all this tying in to the concerns we all have about a possible false flag in the next weeks or months. A lot of attention has been given in the media to issues surrounding this, but normally the public is not given such an elaborate heads-up before anything goes down, so I find it strange. On the other hand, the issue of Internet security is a hot one these days, and I wouldn't put it the Itanimulli to make their next false flag a cyber attack. Because something just doesn't make sense. Why is the terror alert raisedto severe in Britain? They are not havinng Olympics. Why are there 4500 Canadian Forces troops being used for Olympic security? Is it really about the Olympics? Doesn't that seem a bit excessive, even by NWO standards? Or could it be that they have so many troops ready because what will take place will involve much more than an attack on the ...

Debate in the US over net neutrality reached a turning point as the FCC voted to begin regulating the Internet in the name of net neutrality. But will this move end up privileging content providers at the expense of service providers? And what is best for consumers? Priya Sridhar talks with Jim Harper of the Cato Institute.
The debate about what net neutrality really means is heating up. While the US Government says it wants to make sure that Internet providers treat all web traffic equally, companies such as AT&T and Comcast believe that the feds should stay out of their business. The question becomes how much control should the government have over Internet commerce and most importantly, how might these new rules affect Internet users all over the world? RT's Dina Gusovsky moderates this debate between Berin Szoka from the Progress and Freedom Foundation and Art Brodsky from Public Knowledge.
