Learn more at rethinkafghanistan.com. The Afghanistan war is a breeding ground for corruption, and today mcclatchy Newspapers reports that it's not just the corrupt Afghan government that's feeding at the trough. The Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) says about three-quarters of its active corruption investigations involved Westerners. As Ahmed Rashid points out in Brave New Foundation's Rethink Afghanistan documentary, US and allied-nation official and private corruption helped set the stage for the venality of the Kabul government "[A]fter 9/11, American and western aid actually perpetrated this kind of corruption. Because this kind of subcontracting that went on, the wastage of aid, the fact that there was this concentration on the security sector rather than on winning hearts and minds in the social sector, all this created a climate of corruption which people in the Afghan govt. immediately latched onto and were the beneficiaries of. And they then perpetuated their own corruption."
Salman Vs Zeeshan At Marton Quarters QAZI HOUSE:
CURRENT SCENARIO : Uchangidurga is now a crumbling edifice. Heavy rainfall and human encroachment have taken its toll on the the majestic fort, which is spread more than 5 kms from one end to the other. There is a concrete road leading almost upto midway to the Fort, from there the trek is nice and cosy. The entry portion of the fort walls seems to have literally vanished. Enroute one can find the soldiers quarters, where horse and elephants too were stationed. All these edifices have crumbled and peasants have taken over literally. The trek to the fort is hardly 30 minutes. Some of the interesting points are Kings Palace, Queens Palace, Uchangi Devi Temple, Wells and Ponds, Staying place for tourists who seek adventure and some resting places. One can have a wonderful view point from the temple premise. The entire landscape surrounding can be viewed. The ancient temple has been however painted atrociously without considering its heritage value. Pooja takes with the help of priests. There is a jatra during January. We were guided by 3 exhuberant boys, they took us all the way explaining the relevance, one can find drawings or elephant and cow on the fort walls. The queens palace is opened only on Mondays, even Kings palace gates are open on Mondays. It is strange routine, there is a mufti clothed security with wireless set stationed at the fort. There was very little information on the net with regard to such a magnificent Fortress. I got some clue from HOTFIX from Team ...

India betrays Tamils by providing military personnel to Sri Lanka - Vaiko Referring to the news that two Indian radar operators were wounded Tuesday when the Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) attacked the Vanni Headquarters of the Sri Lankan military, Vaiko, the General Secretary of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), in a letter sent Thursday to the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, said that the Indian Government was "caught red handed in its unpardonable betrayal" of involving Indian military personnel in Sri Lanka's "genocidal war" against the Tamils. He blamed the top level bureaucrats in India, particularly the national security adviser, for "clandestinely conspiring" with the Sri Lankan government. Mr. Vaiko urged the Indian Prime Minister to immediately withdraw and call back the Indian technicians and military personnel from Sri Lanka. He charged that, according to the information he had, there was a large number of Indian technocrats and military personnel, up to 265 persons, were fully engaged and assisting the Sri Lankan military. "With unbearable agony and resentment I am pained to condemn, in no uncertain terms, the atrocious involvement of Indian military personnel and the technical engineers, in the genocidal brutal attacks of the Sri Lankan armed forces against the Tamils in the island of Sri Lanka," Mr. Vaiko said in his letter to the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The UPA government at the centre in India ...

New 911 Investigation? Forget about it. End 911 Fraud with THE DEFINING BET OF THE 21st CENTURY: Re-enact FLT77 Pentagon strike via MYTHBUSTERS remote controlled Low-density aluminum 727 into partial Pentagon mock-up 2:37 to test kinetic energy penetration along that highly reflective 40 degree angle of incidence thru C-Ring 3:07. I wager nothing at all would make it into the C-Ring. With only enter & exit walls, I'll even stand at General Quarters at 3:07...right next to the lever for the Toilet Cheney is standing in. Since yer Call bet means a 727 would make equivalent penetration...meaning Hi-density Depleted Uranium bunker buster missiles are unnecessary. Meaning Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Police should be using HOLLOW ALUMINUM BULLETS instead of copper & lead. Failing Sun Tzu: Moral Authority #1 constant factor of the victorious. 2003 claymation vid promoting safe driving www.davelikesart.co.nz (dead link now) As seen on Import X Anti-speed ads — but not as you know them Three young male hedgehogs are driving through a fictional town, Hoggsville. As they carry out their driving antics they talk about, well, nothing in particular. It appears this film clip's not going anywhere...or so it seems. Welcome to the latest Land Transport Safety Authority (LTSA)/Police youth speed advertisement. Those who have seen the advertisement won't see the usual LTSA/Police advertisement hallmarks. It's not apparent that it's an anti-speeding ad until the end — and even the hedgehogs are surprised. The ad is longer than usual at four and a half minutes, it's in a claymation format (Wallace & Gromit style) and there's no LTSA or Police logos. But what you won't miss is the same hard-hitting message — the faster you go, the bigger the mess — which comes in right at the end. Why this new approach? This new style is all part of a different tack to help further reduce road trauma on New Zealand roads through innovative advertising. Rachel Jensen, LTSA Advertising Manager, said that in order to maintain and make further gains through our advertising, the attention of this particular target audience, young speeding males, has to be caught in a way they don't expect. 'That's why we've used this new and creative approach. We hope that it will get into the psyche of our youth audience, by providing a type of humour and an ...
